Users can now change the chronological order of the comments listings, decide on a flat or threaded list, and also change from the comment boxes to straight text links if those are easier to follow. To change your settings to match your preference, just change the options in the Comment viewing options dialog box at the bottom of any comment thread.

It's a big improvement as you no longer need to scroll everywhere to find a post and it's easy to find updated (new) posts. I think the next big complaint with people is having a number system which shows which posts someone is replying too and also an easier way to embellish the font instead of the html codes. The chronological order and the collapsed look are definitely important improvements so thanks for that!
