PITTSBURG - Two men carjacked and robbed a husband and wife as they returned to their Pittsburg home Wednesday night, police said. The couple parked their white 2005 Honda Civic in front of their house on the 100 block of Mepham Drive around 10 p.m., Pittsburg police Lt. Brian Addington said. As they exited the car, two armed men approached them, robbing them of a purse, wallet and car keys. The suspects then fled in the couple's car, he said.
No one was injured during the robbery, Addington said.
The car and suspects are still outstanding. The car has a license plate of 5NBS172, Addington said.
The first suspect is described as a black man, 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, wearing a gray sweatshirt and armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a black man, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin build, wearing dark clothing and armed with a shotgun or rifle-type weapon, Addington said.
Anyone who spots the car or suspects should call 911, he said.

Smokey, I wish the TIMES would just stop putting these stories about guys running around with guns robbing innocent people in the paper. They are just going to make us so depressed we aren't going to care if we get shot by one of them.

This is getting truly crazy. River Run is a nice gated community and I hope they get cameras in there.
After thanking God that you still have your life, maybe something like this alarm might help recover the car and help curb carjackings.
