So, SB seems to be playing some hardball politics here; (evidently) ignoring Cal basketball icon PN & his candidate (Dunlap). Interesting choice that will end well for her, politically, I would think ONLY if her hire thrives at Cal. Maybe it's Haas money that's in control but you'd think that she'd at least pay *lip service* to Newell by interviewing Dunlap...Hardball or not, you just don't do that to a legend, IF you have any brains.

If it's true Montgomery is coming to CAL, I'm no longer depressed. This is great because he's an icon amongst college coaches and the program gets instant national credibility. I always loved his offense while he was at Stanford. Can you imagine his first game against Stanford how exciting the anticipation will be?
