The State Dept. and the US Printing Office are now being investigated by Congress. After 9/11 we discovered how easy it was for terrorists to make US passports. So the State Department came up with a new electronic passport, with an imbedded chip and antenea. Unfortuneately corruption in the US Printing Office, allowed a third party vendor in Thailand to produce the passports. The same city in Ayuda Thailand, has a branch of the Al Quaida terrorist group. In addition the Chinese Government, stole the chip and the new secure passport technology. Our nation is now in even great danger, because of the stupidity and greed of the US Printing Office and the State Department........they not only breached our Nations Security, but gave it away by outsourcing it...

Terrorists can now buy or steal blank passports in Thailand, and CHINA can escalate technological espionage in the US unfettered flooding the US with spies, in additon they now have the capability to track US citizens anywhere in the World, including diplomats an covert types.

Why was this done, incompetence and greed by a few corrupt Government Officials. The profits made by outsourcing to Thailand, were used for overseas trips to France, Las Vegas. As profits made by the US Printing Office can be spent without oversight.. So while all US citizens have to put up with long lines and POLITICALLY CORRECT searched at airports to prevent terrorist attacks, the real terrorists overseas were just the technology to come in and out of our country anytime they want.... Stupidity, Incompetence and Greed.

Americans are also asking what role Homeland Security played in all of this, as they were created to be the frontline on US Security for our nation. This will be a major issue soon as the election heats up and Congress exposes even more skeletons connected to the outsourcing. With the economy taking a dive any idiot would have know better than to offshore jobs, especially security related jobs connected to National Security.
