"He (pulled the muscle) when throwing on Wednesday, but played great on Saturday where he threw a couple of great deep balls. (The muscle) is all really swollen and black and blue all over, (he was) unbelievably tough to play on Saturday." -This is from Scout.com, 4/8/08
Usually one does not sprain a pect muscle. It more often than not is a tear of the pect muscle.
If so, this requires surgery, and he is out for the year. Will be interesting to see how this develops. The posters may get their wish: Riley gets the QB job.
