In the article regarding this subject a few months ago, the Times stated that citizens, other contractors and even other City employees had come forward with complaints that this Concord city employee was openly meeting, discussing current and potential bids and scopes of work, and directly corresponding with his father in regard to Housing Rehabilitation contracts.
And often meeting with his father on City job sites (homes of senior citizens) and doing walk thru's of these project homes with him.
The Concord City Attorney's statements that they were "always kept separate" is complete fabrication and an insult to the citizens of Concord. Most certainly, we do not need these types of blatant mistruths at this time. If there are problems, PLEASE openly deal with them in an above-board and truthful manner, and openly apprise all citizens of your findings and actions. First and formost, you are CIVIL SERVANTS!
