Accident on Buchanan Thursday Morning

This may be a futile effort, but for what its worth, I'm putting it out there just in case. Around 7:15am on Thursday May 8th, I was rear-ended while driving down Buchanan going towards Kirker Pass. I had just crossed the intersection at Ventura and the car behind me not only went through the red light, but was looking to his left watching a girl cross the street. As a result, he did not see that traffic in front of him had come to a complete stop and slammed into me. As I was trying to get through to 911, he got out of his car, looked at his front end, got in his car, backed up until he got to Ventura and disappeared. A couple of school girls waiting for the bus tried to run after him to get a license plate but were unsuccessful. Nobody else stopped to offer assistance, or to see if anyone was injured. I'm guessing that the white SUV behind him saw everything and probably could have gotten his license plate, but they drove off as well. At the time, there were only guesses of what kind of car he was driving but upon closer inspection I see that a Toyota emblem is imprinted on my bumper. I'm guessing it is a Corolla or Tercel, as it was a small car and was a green/turquoise color. If anyone happened to be in the area and saw the accident, or knows of anyone driving a car fitting this description that now needs some serious front end work (all broken glass/plastic debris in the road was from his vehicle) I sure would love to hear from you. Thank you for reading this post. Also, thank you to the school girls who tried to help and to the gentleman at the body shop the police officer escorted me to - he was able to bend my exhaust pipe back into correct position so that exhaust fumes wouldn't be directed into my trunk.

the person using that road probably travels it every morning, take a day off and watch one day planting your self along that route and when you see him take a license plate#.
