I am very disappointed with the CCTimes endorsement of Supervisor Federal Glover.

District 5 can no longer endure a Supervisor who is continually "learning" from his mistakes. Those mistakes have which your endorsement mentions are no minor mistakes - they are HUGE mistakes which have impacted not only District 5, but the entire County.

Apparently the Editorial Board was unaware that in Supervisor's Glover's two terms he has appeared before the Antioch City Council less than 5 times! That's less than five times in over 7 years!! No wonder Supervisor Glover didn't know that the Dozier-Libby Medical High School was being built right across the street from where the County wanted to build a prison!

Glover is out-of-touch with District 5. He opposed Pittsburg's Measure P which was approved by the voters. He opposed Antioch's Measure K which was approved by the voters. He supported the anti-big box Board of Supervisors' ballot measure which was rejected by the County voters.

Glover has had 7 plus years to address the County's OPEB liabilities and only now he is supposedly doing somethign about it?

Clearly, when you look at what Antioch Unified School District Trustee and Supervisor Candidate Gary Agopian has accomplished during his term, the clear choice on June 3rd is GARY AGOPIAN.
