Are the Raiders worse on offense than they were in 2006?

Al, admit you made a mistake firing ART SHELL & TOM WALSH!  Bring the boys back one more time.  The team has gotten worst since they departed.

But,wait, all coaches play from Al Davis' outdated playbook [features Hail Mary passes].  Evidently coaches are not preparing players to win.

Al carefully awarded scholarships to speedy players, signed high $$ players from free agency, given many high draft selections, traded for others in order to field a team of his choice that he deemed "ready to play with any NFL team".

"We will win....We will be back.....We will win......Team of the centuries...Commitment to Excellence....Just win, Baby!!"  Fire the coaches if they can't get the coaches to have the collection of talented players to win!!

Al gave them his playbook, the players and the [limited] authority to win games [and score points].  Maybe he needs to draft more kickers/punters.

If it weren't for Kiffin, the Raiders would be averaging about 7 points/game for the season.  Cable may try to use his collegiate background as some sort of reason for himself being qualified, but this is the WORST offense I have ever seen.

Me, being a Die-hard Chargers fan, I feel your guys pain, we went from "best in the west" to "barely better then the Raiders and Chiefs" in less then a year. Its been a weird NFL season, to say the least. Al need to pass the torch and retire, hopefully he does this before he decides to move again. It seems that the moral of the staff, players, and fans (my entire family included) is really low. I dont understand why Al cant see that. Stubborn I guess.

Thanks for the support Charger fan. I'll be in San Diego to root on the Raiders and as always it'll be good fun. Charger fans are usually pretty easy to get along with unless us Raider fans rub it in win we win. I would venture to say that Norv Turner might be your issue. He doesnt know how to motivate players for some reason. I think you've found a really good QB in Rivers but who knows what happened to that defense. Maybe with Merriman back and Cromartie and Jammer at full strength things will be different.
