Bruce has played for several NFL teams and hasn't seen any success.  Gruden couldn't develop him in Tampa Bay.  So how does this bode for the Raiders on Sunday against the Bengals?  I saw him play against the Broncos weeks ago and he was barely average.  I know Raider fans are excited JaMarcus isn't playing, but a journeyman quarterback is always a fan favorite when the team is losing.  I suspect Raider fans will have their hearts broken when the final whistle sounds.

He'll have one more year.  Why? Because Al likes him. Does excatly what Al wants.

Unless he wants to make Paul Hackett the coach, Al's options are very limited. Forget Jim Harbaugh, he'll be looking for much better offers somewhere else. Jim Fassel? Not sure Al likes his philospophy. I think, at this point, Fassell might also have some second thoughts about coming here.

You have no say on the roster, defensive system and you're expected to win immediately with the stiffs Al hands you.

And the one time he got it right since Florez - Jon Gruden, he traded him! How do you end up trading a coach who won two straight divsion titles and turned us into an elite AFC team? And then replace him with Bill "I couldn't win jack at Nebraska" Callahan.

Our defensive schemes are the owners, how's that been working out lately?
