Anyone know what happened this morning on Alves Ln? There were Highway Patrol and Sheriff (I think) guns drawn in what looked like a standoff, cant find anything on it (big shock since most Bay Point crimes never get covered on the news). Anyone have any info???

The real name is Oak View Memorial Park. How can it be  a Memorial Park when they are ripping the Memorial gifts out of the ground that we place to give to our   loved one's. How rude is that the new managing partner Nicholas Welzenbach is doing all this.  It's B.S. He says its to help take care of the grass (Whatever) he has ben there for about 9 months and it still is brown in many places and they can't mow the grass propobly. That hasn't changed either. He's just on a power trip and is just a young punk that has now remorse for peoples fillings.

Shady business practices are common occurrances at Jorge's used car lot. The corner is a complete eyesore, the owner bargains buyers to omit state and local taxes, called tax evasion. The clerks in the office lack basic business etiquette. Major engine problems are included in sales at major extra cost to the buyer. Hey everyone, the county's Public Works department is looking at a project to add medians, prohibit u-turns, and provide left-turn lanes where feasible on Willow Pass Road from Manor Drive to Solano Avenue. The reason is to prevent accidents and broadside collisions. A public meeting will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Ambrose Community Center. My question, do you think this is a good idea or bad idea for Bay Point?
