The state is in a budget crisis and some school district does this? I know that the hearing she is now going to get will cost that district way over a $100,000 in attorney expenses. You would have thought that the Board or the Superintendent would have talked directly with her and tried to clear this up. I don't know all the facts of this case, but it seems that this nurse was not afraid to take it to the public, so why wouldn't the Board and the Superintendent just gone directly to her and ask her side of the story? This all seems strange to me.

The current fine art museum on campus is kinda sad. The building interior is a prefab concrete stairwell taking you up to increasing levels of artistic mediocrity. My fear is that the new Ito designed museum on Oxford will end up being like the Nevada Museum of Art: all the money got spent on a great building to house a lame regional and special interest collection. Mostly, the appropriately named NAM is loaded with diversity kindergarten art that's barely worth the canvass it's painted on.

What disturbs me in the video of the new superintendent is to see the few people in the audience, who were at this meeting.
