I spoke with his aunt a few days ago and she said he's awake, alert, and was even outside of the hospital in a wheelchair getting some fresh air and a brief change of scenery. I asked her about any long term effects, because she had said in a conversation I had with her a few weeks ago that he may have left brain damage, and she said she wasn't sure because she hadn't personally made it over to Children's. At least he's alive. Please keep him in your prayers as he goes through his recovery.

I didn't get a chance to ask about the 8 month old as she was short on time, but I'm guessing he's doing okay because she didn't mention anything.
