One works and one doesn't but are both vintage collectors pieces-Glasswear/ Dining room-Serving Platters-Plates-Glasses-Mugs-Candle Holders-Vases -Pet Care-Cat repellent-flea comb-pee pads-cat treats-rat (small rodent) cage -Entertainment-Books (children's books to novels)-Dvds-Cds-Vhs-Vinyl Records-Stereo-Dvd player-vhs plater-phone chargers-children's toys-fog machine-Movie theater movie posters-Skateboard is great condition, practically new for cheap-Tim Burton and Lost Action Figures -Other collectables and miscellaneous items-Expensive wines for cheap-various turtle collectables-Water color supplies-Paper-Water color kits (one with tube paints and one with pallet paints)-Art store good quality paints 3+ dollor value, 25 cents a tube-Rummage bin And of coarse other items not listed so make sure to come on out and check us out. You must be a miserable person. That's all you could get out of her post? Please tell me that you were kidding. These girls are trying to get rid of some of their stuff and make a little coin at the same time. In times like this who can blame them? You should probably stay away from downtown on the 4th if you are worried about the traffic. I can tell you that the people that are going to be at that garage sale most likely would have been downtown anyways. Good luck with the garage sale ladies!!!!!

My family has a lot of the "Lost" action figures but might be missing a few. They may want to check out what's available. I guess I'm just wondering if they have Tim Burton tied up in a back room and they're selling him too. The fog machine might come in handy next halloween. The puking pumpkin can always use a few more special effects.

There is a garge sale permit and a food permit required for this. Had they applied for the permit the city could have mentioned the large communtiy event. This event happening downtown has been worked on for months by local folks and the city. The vendors had to buy county health permits and rent or buy special screened in tents. The streets will be closed to allow the parade so this seems to be a poor idea since cars will not be able to get to the neighborhood. The health inspectors are extremely hard on the local restuarants that are partipating and they will be there tomorrow. I am sure based on the public post that they will be stopping by this sale as well. The point is public safety and if the other people have to comply with the tough rules than so should these folks.

No wonder kids growing up today don't understand business. We'll soon need a permit to go to the bathroom (like back in chool days). Let her sell her hot dogs and soda at her garage sale! Why can't we get the County health Department out her to shut down the illegal street vendors instead of harrassing good people having a garage sale? Good grief!

I agree that the permits are excessive and I do wish the would go after the illegal corner sales. I found out that they will come out 1 day a month to Antioch for that issue and the police cannot cite sellers in between despite that fact they do NOT have a business license or take the produce because the unpermited food is considered 'harzardous waste' by the county environmental health. CRAZY!

It was a great !! lots of people showed up no police with anyone asking for permits... Its a garage sale not a mall. Permits ?? who needs em for a junk sale come on get with the program. But to all that came thanks sooo much... "Some say the end is near.Some say we'll see armageddon soon.I certainly hope we will. I sure could use a vacation from this. Bull[bleep] three ring circus sideshow of. Freaks."
