Channel 2 in San Francisco published this news videos on the Federal Judges who held a hearing and are ready to tap into the State Budget for prisoner medical care and over crowding of State prisons. Assembly Bill 1539 The Extended Compassionate Release Bill was passed in 2007 and the Governor signed it into Law. The prison officials are ignoring this Law which was passed to save the State millions of dollars. These disabled prisoners are a big cash cow for the State prison budget. However they are no longer a threat to society. Why not let the families take care of them? I am ready, willing and able but the doctor won't even write the medical evaluation under AB 1539.
