In addition to his intelligence and eloquence, he is a man of the people. I have seen him interact with small groups and always inspired all that were able to hear what he had to say.
He supports the teaching of work skills to all that need them and are willing to work hard to learn. Hundreds would benefit directly if he could continue helping many climb to better jobs.
This is work that continues giving. Keep Arne working for Antioch! We need his views, ideas
and his words.

Simonsen was not re-elected, the voters have spoken. Antioch needs some new faces on the council, that's why voters kicked out Frietas. He's been in elected office for 26 years, enough is enough. Same with Simonsen. There is a lot of political talent in Antioch, the council needs to tap it.

All of the votes were nearly evenly split into thirds. "Third place" in this instance doesn't quite equate to Arne "losing" by any significant margin.
