Officers at the scene conducted interviews with family and friends and said that the man thought things were "deteriorating" in his life, Orman said.
So the best way to handle things is to arm yourself with two guns and use them.
The economy and housing slump can put a big strain on relationships and cause people to get despondent or depressed. Hopefully people seek counseling or other help before they do something crazy and put themself or others in harm's way. If this man survives his wounds and get the help he needs, hopefully he'll realize he's lucky to have a second chance and he'll have a different outlook on life.
You don't have all the facts folks. Please don't speculate. This family is in pain and there are extenuating circumstances.
People can be sick and sometimes medications can cause more harm than good.
God be with them as they all struggle through the days ahead. My prayers are with them. They are VERY good people.
GRIDWNC.....I hope that you don't think that I was making light of the situation. The question was posed as to why he might have confronted the police with the two guns. The phrase "suicide by cop" is a term used by many in the Law Enforcement field when someone for whatever reason feels their only path is to end their life, forces a police officer to use deadly force.
In all my working years I have delt with many who have been in the situation of wanting to end their lives and I have had to deal with the families of those that have. I know that stress or medical issues can make very good people make very bad decisions and I too hope that he and his family get all the help they need.
