A's and AT&T Leave HD Fans In The Dark

FYI TO ALL A'S FANS:  If you have an other carrier other than Comcast, your HD days of A's baseball are not going to happen anytime soon.

With the A's move to CSN (NOT CSN Bay area as the Giants are) only standard definition broadcasts are being supported.  Giants fans by contrast will get all their HD games shown to fans no matter what their service, AT&T, Dish, DirecTV etc....

AT&T in particular is telling their customers that they have NO plans to add the HD version of the channel at this time.  As an A's fan and an HD viewer (as I'm sure many of you are) I think this is ridiculous in this day and age.

Contact your provider (in my case AT&T and their u-verse service) and ask and demand that they give their customers what they deserve.  AT&T bought into the SD service so there is NO excuse for leaving A's fans without HD broadcasts after having them available for the last 4+ years.

Luckily, we have Comcast, so we should be able to watch our beloved A's in HD this season. That is too bad it is restricted like this, but I would think it is a short term issue as more and more HD programs are being adopted.

If we have DirectTV, will we get the A's games that are televised on the Comcast channel???  I've been worried about that.  It doesn't have to be HD, I just want to be able to see the games on my DirectTV service.

If not, maybe you'll just have to go to more games. Or maybe go to local watering holes that are showing games in HD (I guess they would have to have Comcast though).
