I sort of resent your headline saying that A's fans fight for Fremont ballpark site. What it should say it Fremont boosters continue the fight for a site in their city. I'm pretty sure the majority of the A's fans are from the East Bay , north of Fremont, and Contra Costa County. The only Fremont site that makes any sense is the Warm Springs site near BART. That they let a few hundred crybabies run the show is s symptom of how the pubic participation process has run amuck.

That's true. I consider myself a huge A's fan, but I really don't are if they ever build a ballpark in Fremont, as long as they remain somewhere in the Bay Area. Preferably in Oakland, but I'm certainly going to fight for Fremont. Especially if the people of Fremont are protesting against it.
