In Violation of the Constitution: Obama Takes On Chairmanship of UN Security Council.

September 14, 2009. Some unprecedented news today, folks. Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN Security Council. Perhaps it is because of what could arguably be a Constitutional prohibition against doing so. To wit: Section 9 of the Constitution says:

"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State"

.
Nonetheless, the rotating chairmanship of the council goes to the U.S. this month. The normal course of business would have U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice take the gavel. However, this time will be different. Constitution be damned, Barry Soetoro will take the seat and will preside over global nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament talks slated to begin September 24th. The Financial Times says:
Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.

Better Safe... and Sorry (frc.org)

After three months of demanding answers about Kevin Jennings's record, the President's safe schools "czar" finally spoke out yesterday. But anyone hoping for an apology--or even a reasonable explanation for his lapses in judgment-walked away dissatisfied. Instead, Jennings brushed off the controversy, saying only, "Twenty-one years later I can see how I should have handled this situation [of covering up child sexual abuse] differently... Teachers back then had little training or guidance about this kind of thing." Groups like FRC have been pressuring Jennings to respond. And respond he did--but without any real substance or remorse.

Although this is definitely progress, it's hardly enough. No adult should need "special training" to know that children shouldn't be engaging in sex with older men in a public restroom.

All that's needed is a basic understanding of right and wrong. It's taken Jennings two decades to realize that he should have obeyed the law and reported this incident.

Maybe if we give him another twenty years, he'll get the message that child molestation is also bad. Of course, in the meantime thousands of children will be left unprotected from sexual predators because their Safe Schools Czar still can't recognize the situations that compromise our kids.

What Jennings needs to acknowledge, specifically and explicitly, is that: 15-year-olds should not be having sex with anyone; an adult having sex with a 15-year-old is a crime; crimes of child sexual abuse and statutory rape should be punished to the full extent of the law; no one of any age should seek sex partners in a bus station restroom; and using a condom is not sufficient "protection" for a teenager who's being sexually abused by an adult.

As for using illegal drugs as a young adult, Jennings continues to rationalize it. When will he finally say, "I regret using drugs and agree that no one should ever use illegal drugs--including marijuana--under any circumstances"?

If he's not willing to uphold the basic rule of law, he's unfit for the position he holds. If you'd like to tell him as much, log on to FRC's site, stopjennings.org, and contact your state's school board.

Let them know that you want kids to be truly safe, which means Jennings needs to go!

Barry Soetoro was exposed to the world, during the Illinois Senate Debates with Allan Keyes, for the extreme leftist radical he has shown himself to be. This included a segment in one televised debate where Keyes was Heckled from the audience (must have been one of his own supporters, the ObamAcorn Machine would never do that), with no response from his opponent to silence his supporters from interupting the two on stage.

Those who want to do what the Old Media didn't - meaning vet Soetoro in his only debates on the way to an Illinois Senate Seat (and we know how expensive they are), would do well to look and listen (one is a radio only) to what he had to say, before the Abomination.

CAMPAIGN 2004
Senate debate gets personal
Obama, Keyes exchange fighting words on morals, race, religion

Battling a critical baseball playoff game as much as themselves, U.S. Senate candidates Barack Obama and Alan Keyes on Thursday attacked each other's notion of morality, Christianity and even the purity of their African-American racial heritages in a televised debate. Breathless Anticipation

Is this swooping harpy honestly the cctimes 'Reporter' and political mau mau artiste formerly known as 'Honesty2u'??? (and other names - honesty seeks to avoid mention of)

Goodness - when a 'Reporter' has to go in disguise to whip up sympathy for the story then the Old Media must be operating as usual.

Unless of course we got the rong individual, which would of course in turn require self identification to disprove.

However, I do Not recommend anyone hold thier breath waiting for such.

Well, maybe one or two...

Obama to Deliver Keynote Speech at Major Homosexualist Dinner

By Kathleen Gilbert WASHINGTON, D.C., October 6, 2009 (lifesitenews.com) - President Barack Obama will deliver the keynote address at a dinner hosted by the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest homosexualist lobby, the group announced yesterday.U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy will also present the first-ever Edward M. Kennedy National Leadership Award to Judy and Dennis Shepard, parents of Matthew Shepard.  Sen. Edward "Ted" Kennedy, who succumbed to brain cancer in August, was widely recognized as one of the foremost champions of the homosexual agenda.

The speech is the President's latest token of support for the cause after catching flak for backing down on some homosexualist issues - such as his campaign promise to dismantle the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) by executive fiat.

When White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters yesterday that Obama would be speaking to the HRC event, one reporter asked why the President had not taken a more aggressive pro-homosexuality stance.

Tell Congress to vote 'No!' on 'thought crimes' bill (AFA)

In its never-ending quest to shred America's Judeo-Christian value system, the left is planning to hurriedly push through a "thought crimes" bill.

So-called "hate crimes" laws are really laws that criminalize thought, because they punish an individual not for what he did but for what he thought. Politically incorrect thoughts about homosexual behavior will result in enhanced criminal sanctions under this law.

Everywhere hate crimes laws have gone into effect, they have been quickly used to intimidate, silence and punish people of faith who express deeply held religious objections to the normalization of homosexuality.

Such laws not only punish officially disapproved speech and thought, they create two tiers of victims. Under hate crimes laws, some victims get more protections than others, which violates the fundamental American principle of equality under the law.

In fact, such laws actively discriminate against heterosexual Christians who are victims of crime, since they will get less legal protection than homosexual victims.

And since "sexual orientation" is nowhere defined in the legislation, this law will give pedophiles, voyeurs, and exhibitionists special protections, which is why the bill has correctly been called "The Pedophile Protection Act."

The left has shrewdly and malevolently attached this so-called "hate crimes" language to a Defense Appropriations bill, and efforts by Republicans in Congress to remove the language from the Defense bill failed Tuesday night on a party line vote. Though we all support adequate funding for the military, this attachment is a poison pill that makes the Appropriations bill unacceptable.

President Barry Soetoro: "men need to be knocked across the head..." (AP 10/21/09)

To the Un-Enlightened (those not indoctrinated in Orwellian DoubleThink in the hollow halls of Academentia) this may sould a lot like 'our' President advocating DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - Against Men Only, of course...

But actually it is the foundation of radical gender feminist / homosex  'tolerance' - For the rank raw Misandry (Hatred of Men, Masculinity and Normal Heterosexuality) enshrined in the Democrap Party Platform.

And for those who even dare think that Barry Soetoro could use a dose of his own medicine - Be Very Careful when you even Joke about Harming the President; the Secret Service can be very nasty about such stuff.

Of course - that same Craven Bigoted Pimp for the Pervert Hatemonger lobby can send your sorry (Male Posterior) off to die for any number of reasons...

Including his Self Loathing Misandrist Hatred of Men - as befits a Fatherless Feminist Mama's Boy such as the ObamAcorn.

Who are you calling 'extremist'?
Michelle Malkin - Syndicated Columnist - 11/4/2009

Here is one of the loudest messages of the 2009 off-off-year elections: Conservatives in America will no longer let their opponents define them as outside of the mainstream. They will not submit to Democrats. Or to the media. Or to Beltway Republican capitulationists. They will not "rebrand." They will not sit down. They will not shut up.

Just this past weekend, Democratic Rep. Jim Moran attacked the Republican candidates for governor and attorney general in his state of Virginia as the "Taliban ticket." New York Times columnist Frank Rich decried the right's "Jacobins" and "Stalinists" who he said joined a "putsch" by supporting Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman instead of ACORN-embracing, Big Labor-promoting, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, tax-and-spend Republican Dede Scozzafava in New York's 23rd congressional special election.

And senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett told ABC's This Week that the grassroots conservative-vs.-GOP leadership battle over NY-23 showed that the Republican Party leadership was "becoming more and more extreme, and more and more marginalized."

Let's talk "extreme."

Jarrett is the White House official who bragged openly about recruiting disgraced Marxist rabble-rouser Van Jones for the green jobs czar post. She lavished praise on his public career and said she had followed him "for as long as he's been active out in Oakland." In Oakland, Jones was working to dismantle California's juvenile justice system, pitting minorities against police officers and crusading to free death row cop-killer Mumia abu Jamal.

Who are you calling "extreme"?

Jarrett's White House colleague Patrick Gaspard, Obama's political director who intervened in the race to convince Scozzafava to endorse the Democratic candidate Bill Owens after she dropped out, was a top organizer at the militant Local 1199 chapter of the Service Employees International Union and an activist/organizer for the New Party and the Working Families Party -- both ACORN/Democratic Socialists of America front groups.

Who are you calling "extreme"?

"It's rather telling," Jarrett sniffed, "when the Republican Party forces out a moderate Republican, and it says, I think, a great deal about where the Republican Party leadership is right now." It's rather telling that the White House persists with this pointless marginalization strategy as Gallup polls show conservatives continuing to outnumber moderates and liberals across America.

As I pointed out in my Oct. 16 column, there was never anything moderate about Scozzafava. There was no fiscal conservatism to balance her social radicalism. It wasn't merely that she was "pro-choice." She was also a proud recipient of a pro-abortion award named after eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

It wasn't merely that she favored higher government spending. It was also that she supported the stimulus, which every single House Republican in office opposed, on top of her support for the union-expanding card-check bill, on top of her ambiguous statements on the energy tax-imposing cap-and-trade bill.

Newt Gingrich, who foolishly stood with Scozzafava until she threw herself under the bus over the weekend, piously invoked Reagan and condemned the extreme "purism" of unruly conservatives who wouldn't keep quiet about Scozzafava's radical-left agenda.

But conservatives are not demanding "purity." They are simply abiding by Reagan's own wise counsel in 1975: "A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers."

The Republican National Committee and National Republican Congressional Committee threw upward of $900,000 down the toilet for a candidate whose core views and political alliances undermined conservatism's fundamental beliefs in limited government from Day One. It was a reckless expenditure of the GOP base's hard-earned money and a bitter tuition bill for a teachable moment on the perils of political expediency.

The days when immoderate political operatives and feckless Beltway opportunists could define "moderation" by their own warped yardsticks without pushback are over.

This Chai Suits Obama to a 'Tea' (frc.org)

President Obama has done his fair share of damage to the family, but it's the leaders that America didn't elect who are doing more.
In the past nine months, the White House has systematically put radicals in power who are changing the face of our nation.

The administration's latest plant is Chai Feldblum, who the President nominated to take the reins of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). For those of you who don't know, the EEOC acts as a referee on disputes about workplace discrimination.

As a lesbian, Feldblum has been blunt about her agenda when these incidents involve homosexuals. She's talked extensively about revolutionizing social norms, which, by her definition, means that religious liberties take a backseat to "gay rights."

Not surprisingly, Feldblum has a long record of homosexual advocacy, including her work as the primary author of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

When asked about the rights of Christians hiring employees of their choosing, she replied, "Gays win; Christians lose."

Her Senate hearing is set for this Thursday, and we encourage you to contact your Senators and voice your concerns.
Before you do, we strongly recommend that you read our latest Change Watch with three pages of Feldblum's outrageous statements on social issues.

EDUCATION: B.A. in Ancient Studies and Religion, Barnard College, 1979. J.D. from Harvard Law School, 1985.

FAMILY: Lives with a same-sex “domestic partner,” Georgetown Law Professor Nan Hunter. Previously lived in a “nonsexual domestic partnership” with three other women who pledged to care for each other.

Has written numerous articles and books on the subject of employment, but only on the subject of homosexuals in the workplace—no writings on other minorities other than the disabled.

Homosexual Agenda
Same-sex “Marriage”

Signatory of the petition “Beyond Same-Sex Marriage,” which reads in part:

* “We hope to move beyond the narrow confines of marriage politics as they exist in the United States today.”

* Feldblum openly admitted to supporting polygamy, arguing that “committed, loving households in which there is more than one conjugal partner” and “queer couples who decide to jointly create and raise a child with another queer person or couple, in two households” should be recognized as loving families.

* Thoughts on conservatives: “the entire legal framework of civil rights for all people is under assault by the Right, coded not only in terms of sexuality, but also in terms of race, gender, class, and citizenship status” and they are “generating an agenda of fear, retrenchment, and opposition to the very idea of a caring society.”

* “Marriage should be one of many avenues through which households, families, partners, and kinship relationships can gain access to the support of a caring civil society.”
* “Our vision is the creation of communities in which we are encouraged to explore the widest range of non-exploitive, non-abusive possibilities in love, gender, desire and sex.” beyondmarriage.org/full_statement.html

On Homosexuality

Feldblum believes that one’s “identity as a gay person would have little real meaning if you were consistently precluded from having sex with your same-sex partner.” She also argued in her writings that an evangelical Christian hotel owner who asked homosexual patrons to not have sex in his establishment would be engaging in discrimination.

Felblum continued with her pro-homosexual agenda by stating, “I believe that heterosexuality and homosexuality are morally neutral characteristics (similar to having red hair or brown hair), and I believe that acting consistently with one’s sexual orientation is a morally good act…And, in making the decision in this zero sum game, I am convinced society should come down on the side of protecting the liberty of LGBT people.” Chai Feldblum, “Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Liberty,” Becket Fund,

“Gay sex is morally good,” Feldblum said. “Now you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say gay sex is good. But think a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good. Right. Heterosexual sex within a certain framework — marriage — I mean, you can’t get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is…

”If you’re not being cynical for the moment, I think that does reflect a correct understanding that sex is often a basic building block for intimacy and that intimacy and connections within couples and within families are integral building blocks for a healthy society.” Chai Feldblum, youtube.com/watch?v=uOghvpWTl_U.

Sexual License vs. Religious Liberty

Feldblum founded the “Moral Values Project,” which states that the following are immoral activities: “when transgender people are not assisted in living in the gender of their choice; when intersex infants are subjected to genital surgery; or when young women are denied effective contraception — our society is not living up to its important moral values.” Chai Feldblum, “The Moral Values Project,” The Moral Values Project, 2005.law.georgetown.edu/moralvaluesproject/.

Was the lead drafter for ENDA, which she would be responsible for enforcing if she is confirmed to the EEOC. When questioned on the rights of Christians hiring employees of their choice, Feldblum stated “Gays win; Christians lose.” Thomas Peters, “Chai’s ENDA vs. Religious Liberty,” American Principles Project, October 26, 2009. americanprinciplesproject.org/blogs/chais-enda-vs-religious-liberty.html.

Similarly, Feldblum, when questioned about how she would decide when religious liberty and homosexual “rights” conflict, she would have “a hard time coming up with any case in which religious liberty should win.” “Obama’s EEOC pick, Chai Feldblum: Sexual liberty wins in conflict with religious liberty,” Alliance Defense Fund, September 14, 2009.alliancealert.org/2009/09/14/obama-picks-chai-r-feldblum-for-eeoc-commission/.

Defined the battle plan for homosexual activists in the “fight for equality”: “As a practical matter, changing the public’s perception of the morality of gay sex and of changing one’s gender may ultimately be necessary to achieve true equality for LGBT people…” “Obama’s EEOC pick, Chai Feldblum: Sexual liberty wins in conflict with religious liberty,” Alliance Defense Fund, September 14, 2009. alliancealert.org/2009/09/14/obama-picks-chai-r-feldblum-for-eeoc-commission/.

Domestic Partnerships for All

In perhaps her most radical paper, Chai Feldblum “nonsexual domestic partnerships” should be respected and “supported” by the State, and benefits should extend to them and believes these tax-supported partnerships can consist of people who are merely “really good friends.” Other excerpts from the article include:

* “Moreover, to the extent that the struggle for marriage equality focuses solely on achieving the right to marry because that is what a pure equality discourse calls for, the movement will also miss the chance to make a moral case for supporting the range of other creative ways in which we currently construct our intimate relations outside of marriage. And that would be as much of a missed opportunity as would be the lost opportunity of convincing the general public of the moral equivalence of gay and heterosexual sex . . .”

* “I believe homosexuality is as morally neutral as heterosexuality and, moreover, I believe gay love embodies the same moral goods as heterosexual love. My agenda would be for the rest of the country to believe those things as well.”

* It is unfortunate that “society fails to acknowledge the wide array of non-marital intimate social structures that we as humans have ingeniously constructed to negotiate and make sense of the world.”

* Revealing that she is unsure about how she would decide in regards to the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston being forced to grant adoption to same-sex “couples”: the “state should be permitted to withhold tax exempt status, as in the Bob Jones case, from a group that is clearly contrary to the state’s policy. But to go further and say to a group that it is not permitted to engage in a particular type of work, such as adoptions, unless it also does adoptions for gay couples, that’s a heavier hand from the state. And I would hope we could have a dialogue about this and not just accusations of bad faith from either side.” Chai Feldblum, “Gay is Good: The Moral Case for Marriage Equality and More,” Moral Values Project, 2005. law.georgetown.edu/moralvaluesproject/Library/Papers/Feldblum_Gay_is_Good_Marriage.pdf.

Abortion

Clerked for Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the author of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision, which allowed for the universal “right to abortion” in the United States.

Patrick Reilly of the Cardinal Newman Society said about Feldblum that “the news of Feldblum’s nomination is especially noteworthy for Catholics given the EEOC’s recent infringement on Catholic Belmont Abbey College’s religious liberty by claiming it discriminated against women when it removed contraceptive coverage from its employee health insurance plan…If confirmed by the Senate, Feldblum would serve on the EEOC for five years and could decide cases related to abortion.” Steven Ertelt, “Obama’s Pro-Abortion Nominee to EEOC Panel, Chai Feldblum, Faces Opposition,” LifeNews, October 21, 2009. lifenews.com/nat5594.html.

Authorship

Feldblum has authored or contributed to the following books: The Moral Values Project: Deploying Moral Discourse for Gay Equality; The Federal Gay Rights Bill: From Bella to ENDA; Rights & Wrongs: Morality in the Gay Marriage Debate; Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion; The Right to Define One’s Own Concept of Existence: What Lawrence Can Mean for Intersex and Transgender People; Gay is Good: The Moral Case for Marriage Equality and More; Gay People, Trans People, Women: Is It All About Gender?.
