Right. Sippy Cups for adults. In what world? Anyway, as a daily BART rider (several years), I have yet to see anyone ticketed for eating or drinking on a train. I have seen many coffee cups, soda bottles, and water bottles used. I have seen persons eating (and dropping lettuce on the floor) while sitting directly in front of the NO Eating Drinking Smoking signs. And unless there's a Homeland Security event going on, I have rarely...VERY rarely... seen an officer ON a train unless responding to a "get the homeless guy and his stuff off the four seats he's using" complaint in the morning. So much for the threatened $250.00 ticket.
