PITTSBURG, CA Monday, August 1, 2008: Overall, 16 students and 6 adults attended the impressive and exhilarating 21st annual FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals at Infineon July 25-27, 2008.
"Thanks to our community this weekend welcomes our students to yet another different sport and exposes them to its corporate and competition aspects," said Dario Arredondo, Director of Bay Area Soccer Academy (BASA). "We introduce these talented young students to key players in the NHRA industry to kick-start their understanding of the importance of social skills; teamwork, honesty, pride, personal accountability and discipline."
NHRA and Infineon treated us to entertainment that took to the sky and land before the Christmas Tree lights started the race performances. We took all of the exciting action!
"Thanks to the support of our business community we had a great time again! We all enjoyed the air show and pre-race entertainment followed by the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals. The sport of racing is fun, lots of fun. It learned the importance of precision, the importance to detail to be able to win at anything. I want to comeback every year." said Louie P. Davis, BASA student.
Students got to see first hand INFINEON offices, INFINEON and NHRA sponsors, licensees, teams, tracks and broadcast partners.
Consistent with our soccer programs, NHRA and Infineon have created a family environment that is safe and promote stable relationships between children and adults, and among children themselves. A social event for the entire family!
CAREFUL DESIGN donated tickets and transportation for all attending.
LA AURORA MARKET donated 1 case of Bottled Water, ice, and lunch for all attending,
BAY AREA SOCCER ACADEMY (BASA) donated Pizzas and Transportation.
Thank you Family, Friends, Fans and Supporters!
