Hello All,
This time of year is always great. The weather is getting better. People dress in brighter clothing. Just a little happier in general. Almost everyday when I go home there is the aroma of BBQ coming from somewhere in the neighborhood. LOVE IT!! Good food warms my heart. My husband and I play around with Soy Sauce, Garlic, Pappy's and some cool rubs when we marinate our meat. Does anyone else have any suggestions on melt in your mouth BBQ?

That depends are you talking real bar-b-que or grilling. My favorite source is a book that I got as a gift last year, by Steven Raichlen called Sauces, rubs and marinades, it is full of all kinds of recipes, most I try and then experiment with. You can get the book at Barnes and Noble give it a try.

-I have 2 of his books. The BBQ bible and another I can't remember. He doesn't just give you recipes. He also explains the theory behind what he's doing. I've learned a lot. I had my first brisket with Arkansas Viinegar BBQ sauce last weekend. Man was that tasty. It was at a restaurant in Monterey. I'm going to try it at home this weekend.-----------------------------------Smoked Peas-------------------------------------------- Sandy: I want you to kill every gophers on the golf course!
