Seems that Contra Costa Water has contracted the Al Gore virus. Kool-aid drinkers may be unaware of the mirth that stems from each new Gore pronouncement of World Doom unless you hand over your liberty and your wallet to him and his paid sycophants. That bittersweet comedy has to do with the Ice storms and freezes, temperature plunges from Florida to Mexico....that seem to accompany every "Gore as Moses" pronouncement on Warming. (man made of course).

This year, each Contra Costa Water District somber announcement on price raises due to Drought....has been followed by....rainstorms. ~2 months ago it was a big and (2 week?) long series of storms. So they had to hurry over to the megaphone of Nanny State Big Government Rule (our faithful CC Times) to tell the villagers (us) that "HEY, that was nothing. We are still way down". Of couse the bad new CCW flyers had already been printed up and went out some time later. About the time it hit our mailbox....More rainy days. But we had 2 or 3 hot days after that. But hey you and I are not the experts...and it's presumably all drought from there on out. But then we Just had 3 to 4 showery days and unseasonally...cool..again. ("Honey where did you put that comforter") Not a lot of rain...but it didn't enhance anyone's drought talk. Too funny.

As Utilities find their stride as the unelected "Fourth" Branch of Government...We should just shut up. When PG& E tells you which light bulb to use (and when) to save the Planet......and THEN spends $250,000.00 rate payer dollars for "Gay marriage"...please DON"T ASK. We are their drones...just trust in your superior betters.
