Crawfish just isn't the same with chili/cheese on them? Our Fosters in Antioch makes a killer chili cheese burger. I'm now paying for eating too many of them when I was younger. Want me to send you one? I'll swap for som crawfish. LOL

Yes you have to love the mudbug, crawdad, crawfish.. Sometimes they bring a large truck with a kettle on the back and sell the crawdads hot right off the truck. Love em.

One Thanksgiving here in Antioch, Hubby and neighbors went out and got the bed of a pick-up full of them from an Island here that had flooded when the levee broke. My girlfriend being from Thailand was able to pick them up with her toes. We spent all day cooking, eating as many as possible cooked with hot peppers and rice. Then bagged and froze the rest.

In the 60's Sherman Island (I think it was Sherman Island) was flooded and when they finally pumped the water out, crawdads were all up on the sides of the levey. I got about 40lbs and took them home. Mom boiled them up. Dam, memories..
