This is so sad. I have been praying for this little boy all day. And his sister. I hope that she is with someone who can make her feel as safe as possible right now. How devastating...
Wait a minute, you signed that restraing order. this must be some kind of mistake. the restrainning order is signed! It was witnessed. It was filed, and can be recoverd if needed.many copies can be made and served.Maybe he did not read english,It whould have been writen in multiple languages, like our dmv does.I think I have solved the problem/.we have failed our citizens again!
Sounds like an illegally obatined gun. A history of domestic violence and having a restraining order on you prevents you from purchasing a firearm legally.
Some people naively believe that a restraining order is a magical document that keeps bad people away. WRONG! If you feel the need to get a restraining order, you'd better acquire a firearm and tell the restrained person that you have a firearm and will use it to defend yourself. You must also warn your friends and family that there is a violent person in your life and you must be careful to avoid placing them in situations that may endanger them. If you believe that the subject of your restraining order wants to harm you, you'd better carry pepper spray for as long as you believe that person is a threat to you. Forget about getting a concealed-carry permit in the Bay Area, as the Chiefs and Sheriffs don't believe in self-defense outside of your home.
Well put. Maybe if we can get enough people to support the CCW then we can change things. The right to defend yourself and your family shouldn't stop once you leave your home.
