Hey fellow posters,
My name is Ric Ellis, and I'm the event coordinator for Brentwood Best Buy's 2nd Annual Car Show benefiting the Fallen OPD Officers. Our event is set to take place on June 28th, with check in beginning around 10AM and the show running from Noon to 4PM. We have four trophies donated from A&B Trophies in Antioch. I would like to invite you to attend our event, help raise money for the trust funds set up by the Oakland Police Officers Association for the Officers murdered om 3/21, and have a great shot at over 50 great raffle prizes. This event should have a fantastic turnout, as i have advertised with the monthly grapevine, 110 magazine and KAT Country 103.
Car entry is a $10 donation and all cars will be eligible for our open voting for 1st thru 3rd place, and finally, our Managers/Officer choice. i have registration forms all set and would be more than happy to send some to you along with flyers. Please let me know if I can count in any of your club members to participate.
The main items i need help with are the following: -Raffle prizes: any company or individual willing to donate a $50 prize pack. The raffle is expected to be the primary source and in order to make it enticing for our community members to spend their hard earned money, we will need some really neat prizes that any family could use. This is where you come in. I am aiming for at least 50 different "prize packs" with a value of at least $50. This can be products, gift cards or gift certificates. Please, no "free services". If you can, please see what sort of prize pack your company can put together to donate. I should have tax information available from OPOA soon, and I can relay that info to you when your commitment is made. -Show Cars! Please feel free to bringout your show car! $10 donation for entry. -People! Bring the whole family! It will be a great time. Great food, fantastic raffles, cool cars.
Please forward this information to anyone else you know! Help me make this event as big as possible!
Please stop by the store, email me or call me with any questions or comments.

He actually lives in Walnut Creek. I think one of those cars would be awesome. Definately looking for stuff you dont see every day. I think, Tony, that your W8 and Diablo fit the bill, haha.

Tony,
I have up to 27 spots for you guys. I have Pam from Red Barn hot rods coming in on Wednesday to help me map out the area and make sure i have the spaces measured out correctly.
Do you think 12' across is enough room per car?

Tony, Just wanted to extend a huge thank you to you, Bill and all the other exotic owners who showed up. you guys really helped make this show a huge success in my eyes. SGT Kelley with OPD told me many of your group gave much more than the $10 donation and that really helped out. We ended up raising $2000 for the OPOA trust funds.
One thing I would like to apologize for is the fact that there was not an award for "Best Exotic". I had requested one in my email to A&B trophies, and I'm sure Jackie would have made one, she just didnt catch it on the email. I really apologize for that, i didn't intentionally leave your group out. I hope you guys had a good time and I wish I would have got to introduce myself to everyone and spend a little more time over there but I was being pulled every which way.
Again, I really, really appreciate your guys participation, it wouldn't have been the show it was without you. Please pass this on to the Ferrarichat group. If there is anything I could have done better or any way I could have made the experience more enjoyable, please let me know.
