BSAL added a new member to its league-Encinal High School otherwise known as the Nail House and they are fast, athletic, they have playoff experience, and it looks like they are for real. With all new coaches they managed to hang with a fast, big, and tough Berkeley team although losing to them and going undefeated the rest of the way in the ACCAL with wins over pinole, alameda, el cerrito, de anza, monterey, to name a few. Encinal is supposed to be a better team this year. With Piedmont, St. Pats, and St. Mary's in their way who is coming out of the BSAL with a proven record?

Interesting observation by LBO5ONIT...  Encinal's 2007 winning season is not news to anyone in the BSAL and I am certain that all squads are preparing accordingly.  I think this is good news for the BSAL and should make for some entertaining contests in 2008.  Yea, Encinal has threats, but any given Friday night a team will win or loose based on the level of preparation and the strength of their desire to win.  Jets; hard work is the road to victory, not hype.
