After watching Deer Valley roll over Washington and SHC, it may be pretty clear that DV will go undefeated.....With the speed that DV has, they seem to be unstopable....there biggest threat is Heritage and Pittsburg, but as it looks so soon, they don't stand much of a chance of stopping DV. I was real surprised how easyit was for DV to knock off Washington and SHC..
College Park Vs. Antioch.....CP 28...Antioch 14......the Panthers put up a good fight before loosing.
Pittsburg Vs. Berkeley........Pittsburg 26...Berkeley 20...The Pirates finally come alive after being roughed up by Granite Bay and Monte Vista..
Deer Valley Vs. Logan.......DV 44..Logan 20....DV seems unstopable and continues to roll...
Heritage Vs. Monte Vista....MV 44...Heritage 20...the Patriots are in for a rough night at the hands of the Mustangs.
Freedom Vs. Tracy west.....TW 27.....Freedom 12......Freedom is having a tough time getting into gear...they had a fiar JV team to workoff, but so far its been a struggle....
Antioch's victory over College Park has to be one of the big surprises of the season so far, this game had to be one of the great battles on the grindiron...I thought that the Panther's were a far better team then what they displayed in the first few games and they proved it Friday night. And what about Pittsburg, their 18-16 loss to Berkeley, the Pirates are still having trouble getting a win over tough opponents....And.......Deer Valley was thought by me to have a easy time with Logan, but that proved wrong as Logan came to play....I still think that Deer Valley will go undefeated unless Pittsburg comes together, which i think is their biggest remaining obstacle...Heritage is a threat, but i don't think that they can stop Deer Valley...
The antioch Panthers are coming to play this season...last friday was a taste of wat they can do. too many ppl doubt them. this is their season they've got a good offense and a solid defense. as the season progresses the panthers are going to show everybody that they mean business this year.

Pitt has admittedly played a very tough preseason schedule, but the latest loss to Berkeley has to make DV the favorite, especially with MV rolling over Heritage. Freedom losing to West of Tracy is a bad sign, as both SRV and Cal took West apart. As of right now, I see it 1) DV, 2) Pitt, 3) Heritage, 4) Antioch, 5) Freedom and 6) Liberty. A lot of football to be played yet however, and anything can happen.
Dont count out Liberty so quickly. They have a lot of speed, strength and talent. They will suprise people this year. I dont know what they will rank in league but it will be better than 6th.

I wouldnt place bets against Liberty. When they played Clayton Valley they scored first with in the first couple of minutes. They were tied at 7 going into the 4th quarter. Clayton took advantage of some mistakes that Liberty's defense made to take the win. Liberty has worked on the mistakes that caused them this game and has won their next two games. I agree with you about how hard the league is, it is one of the toughest leagues, but I think Liberty is coming to play for keeps. The majority of the varsity players are from the jv team last year and went 6-4 for the season. Can you tell I am biased to Liberty? Take care

dParson's....Nothing wrong with being biased, every team needs this kind of support...This friday night...Liberty shouldn't have any trouble with McNair...If it were possible...it would be great for every team to win, but that doesn't happen..Lets see what happens next week....
Dparsons.....Liberty will have there hands full against Oakland and it will be a good yard stick to see what Liberty is made of.....Oakland knocked off Campolindo last week 32-21...Now Campolindo is not the team of last year, so maybe the Cougars weren't expecting what Oakland thru at them....so...There is a good chance that Liberty can stop Oakland......
the rumor is that pittsburg has lost their star running back....erick dargan due to a torn ACL...Dargan was pittsburgs backbone. without him they can't win so easy. He was averaging at least 3 TDs a game
If the rumor is true, losing Dargan is a huge loss for Pitt. He was a beast out there. However, he wasn't "averaging at least 3 TD a game", as the whole team is only averaging 3 TDs a game. In fact, he has scored just 4 TDs thus far this year due to reduced playing time from the knee injury. They had better get someone else to step up or a few hiccups could mean missing the playoffs for the first time in recent memory.

Dargan was the driving force against Granite Bay and if it wasn't for him, Pittsburg would have taken a good beating.. And it was bad enough as it was...No one wants to see this guy go down and with out him the Pirates will be in big trouble against Oakland....I think that the Pirates will not see the playoff's this year if they drop another game.....

It will definitely be an interesting season. Liberty plays Oakland next week, that should be a good game. Opener for Liberty is Antioch.
