
Along with the property tax income being down 21%, I wonder what else the City plans to do? They had only budgeted for a 4 million dollar loss in revenue, and I think it will be hard not to at least ask the police department for a concession either in salary or benefits. I'd rather see that, than layoffs.
I believe we are in historic times.

well, i guess we need to cut at the right places. i don't know what our council is waiting for.
sell the animal shelter
sell the water park
sell the marina
stop building the community center
any and all contract awarded to antioch campanies only
any and all needed merch for city projects, purchased in antioch only
cut 50$ of the supervisor/ superindendend positions
companies with antioch contracts need to hire antioch citizen/ employees only
re-hire revenue generating postions
no more big box retailer (target on lone-tree)
no cuts within the police department
no cuts for any citizen service
no cuts for our senior citizen
no cuts for the libraray
hire a volunteer, volunteer organizer and fill public cervices with volunteers
no discounts to anybody (water park)
i volunteer 1-2 days a month
