All that force for 15 20 rocks and a gun between 50 suspects all taken advantage of.Silly overkill of state raid for 15 20 rocks of cocaine , mind the additives to cut the cocaine into rock. So how much cocaine again? Thought with media it would be at least a pound or key of blow. How much manpower to take 15 20 rocks and a common pistol 9mm? Really doesnt effect the drug element in the price or sale ,distribution of drugs or the "cartels" so often dubbed for every hispanic on the busted side of the forces that be. This is a circus without a tent so artificial in all the headlines of progress and enforcing of such silly propagandized war on drugs with law enforcement looking like stand up guardians and protectors of the communities in the bay area. Such comedy!!

One person at a time, one gun at a time. It all adds up and helps rid our streets of crime even if in a small way. 30 kids? I hope CPS follows through and helps some of them.

It was 5 rocks and a 9mil....and as I watched this all unfold on the news this AM....the before mentioned items were found to be in the possession of one man, NOT within either home as the writer of this story recklessly states. It is not uncommon for many Pacific Islanders to share one home much like they did in their home of origin and I'm fairly sure, if not by virtue of living in East Palo alto alone, the economy hasn't benefitted them any better than the rest of us. Completely ridicules, overkill, and a total waste of resources. It disgusts me to witness these negligent displays of our tax dollars. The greatest success achieved this morning will undoubtedly be life the long shock and trauma San Mateo County has now instilled within all of these children. The dollars spent on this mornings ‘Super Mega Pre-Dawn Raid” would have served a much more noble cause had they instead been spent on assisting those truly in need, much like those very children, within East Palo Alto.

great job GUYS!!!!... one person, one gun at a time is right. poor kids, hope cps does follow up and does their job. Info was probably good, but they prob just pushed their supplies out. keep up the great work. no matter the amount, getting it off the street is the best thing.
SMC and Narcs had good info then, then they went in with that kind of manpower.

For the last time it was 5 rocks. It is so easy for other losers who don't have anything better to do then to talk about a family that they don't even know. Yeah they may have alot of children but tell me where in the law states that you can't have that many kids. You must be so proud of how your policemen are working. There are alot more out there but they focus all of there energy on this family for what, FOR NOTHING!!! I know the family and they are very nice people and the children are well taken care of. So don't run your mouth about the children because they are fine. This family has been living in EPA for many many years and to pull that stunt on them you have another thing coming. People have nothing better to do then to talk all that BS when they don't know a thing about being in the ghetto. People should worry about their lives then worry about what another family is doing. If you don't know all the facts then I suggest u SHUT UP!!!!!
