If every person at the theater was required to carry a weapon, as our founding Fathers had intended in the Bill Of Rights, they each could have returned fire and brought the blessing of the Lord upon all involved.

The City is steadily turning into a cess pool. When I described CPD's lack of commitment to proactive police work previously, some morons attacked me. Where are you now? CPD isn't exactly responsible for knowing when and where criminals will strike, but they are responsible for catching them and bringing them to justice! The City's new slogan should read " Titanic in training" or "The city where law abiding ctizens and families come last!". Again, I'm glad I moved!!!

Hey lets not blame the people bringing weapons to a theater. Lets not blame people who bring small babies to the theater instead of using a babysitter. Im sure they were in a G rated movie (no pun intended). gang members ? todos santos park at night is starting to resemble tijuana. lets blame the police department, but portchicagocrusader i bet they are exactly who you call when your [bleep] is in trouble !!! apartments overcrowded all along the monument corridor area, i know lets blame CPD, worst crime area.. monument corridor, most undocumented illegals.. monument corridor.. nortenos / sorenos... i know it the CPD's fault.. what a crock of sh IT ...

It's not the entire race.. but the facts are still the facts. In this case and in the monument corridor area. (gangs, crime, apartment overcrowding, school overcrowding, illegal undocumented immigrants, etc..etc..)  it is out of control. white cranksters are causing their grief too, but mexican gangs are causing way more.. legals and illegals, they dont even get along with other mexicans and it is not to see who gets the field jobs, the hospitality jobs, the restaraunt jobs, its for the drug trade. california spends 15 million a year alone on illegals in california prisons.. yet we cut school teachers, programs, etc.. come here legally documented, pay taxes, fine, there is a process. .. im not native american, but come in illegally, mooch off every social program, bring others to join you, then send the tax free money back from the check cashing store... yeah that i have a problem with.

Why does the city not only allow it but support it then? Legal and illegal mexicans don't get along with other mexicans? What other kinds are there? California spends more than 15 million a year on hormone pills for transgendered inmates. Lay-offs are a result of the crash of housing prices, it has nothing to do with Mexicans legal or illegal. The tax free money you're referring to, yah that 300.00 a week big tax free money. Wall Street (white people) ripped us off blind, and you're blaming Mexicans? Did you know that social security is a social program? Mexicans don't qualify for it, I won't receive it because it will surely crash by the time I'm 65, but I still have to pay for the moochers on it now(using your logic).

norteno's and soreno's dont get along right, they form gangs right... those are the ones. I doubt that 15 million are spent on transgendered pills but I can stand by the facts that 15 million are spent on illegals in prison alone, but the facts are the facts... most crime area of concord, most amount of illegals, most serious crimes commited, lowest housing prices, hmmmmm monument corridor.  i agree big business is to blame too, they should be fined and lose their license for using undocumented immigrants. There is a process, sneaking in, is illegal. Citizenship rules need to be changed to not allow babies born in the U.S. by foreign or illegal immigrants should not be given U.S. citizenship. No other country does this, why should we ? It promotes more illegals to come to drop a baby in the U.S., then sec8 housing, wic, welfare, etc. etc. etc... i know i ventured off subject .. but the trouble i can almost bet .. was caused by some [bleep]s carrying weapons. are these the ones here for a better life ? how about the illegal who killed the 3 family members in SF.. snuck in via mexico... ms13 member.. the border needs to be secured. imo.

That would be Sureno's. They are part of the illegal and legal groups. You doubt that figure for the transgender meds? The prison health care bill is coming up again. It was talked about 2 weeks ago. The new figure is several BILLION dollars. For our state alone. Each hormone pill is a 100.00 dollars a piece. Most take 10-20 a day per person, do the math! Big business is to blame, along with the enablers. They're the City council, the Mayor and the P.D. Without their compliance, how could this happen?

IÂ grasp the jist of what you are trying to say, Portchicagocrusader.
I won't go so far to solely blame the police, but I have surely read enough local news to come to the realization that Concord criminals and gang members run the city, not the police. Seems like no one in Concord is safe. It always amazes me that one can read this particular article and still be campaigning for MORE guns. There was only one gun (as far as we know) in the theater. the bullet luckily, was lodged in the wall of an adjacent theater. But had this case been anything like the Christopher Rodriguez story-an Oakland boy who was at his piano lesson while a robbery was occuring just accross the street and a stray bullet pierced through the buiding and ultimately paralized him- it would have only taken the one weapon to critically injure or even kill someone. CCT just published an article stating that the police know that gang activity is ramped in Concord and that they are now going to work on tackling it. One must wonder what condition the city would currently be in had they taken a different approach to the criminal dealings of the city.
