Couple robbed at gunpoint in Antioch Two people were held up at gunpoint this afternoon while sitting near a park in Antioch, according to police. A man and woman were parked at Williamson Ranch Park near Lone Tree Way and Hillcrest Avenue. At 12:53 p.m., a man around 20 years old approached the car with a handgun and robbed them, said Antioch police Sgt. Steve Bias. The suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is asked to call Antioch police dispatch line at 925-778-2441.

I live a couple of hundred feet away from this park and I was putting a new stereo in my sons car when this went down. I heard it on my scanner. Middle of the day, with lots of people around....damn shame.
