Many Al Davis hate posts have been made here and I am as guilty as the rest. However, Al Davis has always had his defenders. Now I wonder, how many of you still defend Al Davis? Stand up!!!

... and the one point I won't agree on with PRame. To want AD removed doesn't have to entail a hatred for the man. I just want to see him out as the sole decision maker for this team. He needs to go or relinquish control to a brillian football GM and HC.

Take away the emotion...Take away the name calling...Take away the finger pointing...Take away all of the misguided extraneous variables and just overall general hysteria....

Yours is the voice of wisdom and reason...

would you rather have an owner like the bucs ? win a championship then 7 years later go winless . Well thats what the bucs our looking at

. Again, you guys should have never expected playoffs, so it`s your fault for feeling the way you do, not AD, not Russell not even your mother or Obama. Nobody but your feelings. Thats it and thats that.

you can go back and look at all my posts and you won't find a single mention of playoff expectations. I don't like the fact we have had six years of losing seasons, going on seven. I don't like the fact that we have had numerous coaching changes over these last six years and nothing has changed. The common denonimator in all this is the owner. Know what you are talking about before you fire off a post.

Hmm. Comparing AD to the bucs owner? read your post again. We lost to that bucs team and it has gone downhill ever since - for both teams. Not sure what point you are trying to make, but your statement makes no sense.

Even though i dis-agree with him at times, i still respect that it is his club and he can do whatever the hell he wants to do with it. So deal with it or jump ship.

... and you are right, he can do whatever he wants with it. Professional sports is a business, entertainment. ADs income is based solely on that, that's the business side. For the rest of us, its entertainment. We root for our favorite team, when they suck, we let them know. We are experiencing what the Lions have experienced for decades. We don't take it to the extreme of paperbags (at least not that I have seen), but we can certainly show our displeasure in other ways. At least the Lions have an owner that finally got it and got rid of Millen and their losing HC. A bit different here.

Man - love the team that we have loved during the good times and bad times, but that doesn't mean we have to support the owner who has brought this team to an all-time low. There is no one above AD to make the right decision as the Ford family did with the Lions. So we voice our opinion on game day and by not making merchandise purchases.

Again, this doesn't mean you have to hate the man, just a desire for change.

For as rough as things have been, the man has a true desire to win and will spend money without regard for the players he thinks he needs (regardless of his ability to assess talent or coaching expertise).  I like the Richard Seymour trade.  I like the Greg Ellils pick-up.  I can go on.  There is no denying that Russell and McFadden looked like they would make good pros.  Hard to fault him there.  This is the same man who had the guts to draft Nhamdi in the first round.  Listen guys, you win some, you loose some on draft picks.  We have done a worse job hiring coaches.  Its been abysmal since Gruden.  That is where you can blame AD.  He needs to find someone he respects so he can feel comfortable letting that coach do the coaching.  He let Gruden do his own coaching.  Im sure with the right coach, and considering the fact that Al is getting really old, he will let that person do the job.  Cable is a great position coach, but not a real top guy.

Al blows!! His petty, Stalinist, micromanaging has ruined this team and cost us a Super Bowl!!

We've played the same defense for the last forty years. Namdi is only allowed to line up on the right side, even if the opponents best receiver is on left.

And his insistence on this stupid vertical offense…it's pathetic

ALL YOU AD FOOTBALL, INC.  SUPPORTERS PLEASE STAND UP…NOW GET OUT OF DODGE!!!!

YOU’RE ALL POLISHING BRASS ON THE TITANIC

Every owner out there has a desire to win. Winning brings in more revenue and better players. you can't buy a championship by paying big money for players you want unless you have other factors in line to support the cast. AD is not going to find a coach of the caliber of Gruden or any other great Raider coach of the past until he is willing to relinquish control and put it in writing. Potential coaches see the chaos and will not come unless they are first time HC looking for a break or washouts looking for a second chance.

As John Maxwell puts it - Talent is Never Enough!

I'll stand up. Davis needs help running this team and he should get it because I'm sure they are losing tons of money over it, however I'm a Raider fan and being a Raider fan is dealing with Al Davis. I have said it once and I'll say it again, if you're holding out hope that Davis is going to change his ways you're better off finding a new team. Be pissed all you want, but Davis doesn't care what you think. Like Larry Johnson said "Still richer than u," and I'm sure Davis is the same way.

I don't agree with what Davis is doing, but I'm not going to waste my time crying about it. People have been crying about this my whole life and nothing has changed.

sorry dude, you can put your head in the sand and be the good soldier all you want....but the way I look at this board it's a punching bag to take my frustrations out on. So I guess I should just be a good American and never complain about the incompetence and waste of government, and most of the voters out there? I should just accept the fact that we as country are going to become another Detriot (the city not the team Stuckonlosing...lol)!

Btw, what the heck else are we to complain about? Drafting? Players? O/D schemes? Play-calling? FA signings? ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL point back to AD! So call it whinning or whatever you want.

"Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! Are you kidding me? Playoffs?! I'm just hoping we can win a game, another game!"

If I'm going to get called out I'll stand up. We all know Al is a HUGE problem. You can complain all you want, but if you're going to call out people that supported Davis you know where to find me. I complain about our government as I'm sure just about everyone does. The big difference is that I don't spout off remarks like "I'm moving to Canada if things don't change". I'm just tired of bandwagon fans (I'm not questioning your loyalty RP. I know you are a loyal fan) on here that talk about jumping ship because Al isn't going to change. Like you said, you have been complaining about Davis since the 80s and where has that gotten you?

Al Davis is become a crazy person. Look at the clowns he hires. John Herrea is a monkey. Tom Cable is a muppet as is the entire coaching staff. And to keep this post short look at the bums on the Raiders Roster. Name me any f--king player that could go to any other NFL team and start right now. Shane Lechler, Richard Seymour, and Nnamdi. Possibly Zach Miller. The rest of the entire team is pretty much diareeha. It all falls back to one man. Crazy Al. Stop drafting fast guys and draft football players. Hire a GM. Hell sale the team and move to Utah. [bleep].
