Congrats to Clayton Valley for winning the D2 NCS Championship! Well Done!
If we have a DVAL Baseball season in 2010, do you look for CV to repeat? CV, as most teams lose a lot of talent. Who will step up in 2010?
Clayton Valley - They lose Matthews, Bruno, Lassen, Weller, Levine, Wilhite, Weller, Darrow, and Thorton. Meadows, Bekakis, and Stephens all return from the NCS team. Very good JV team. Have to be the team to beat.
Concord- Key losses of Alexaander and Morales. But they return Alcosta and a lot of good Juniors and Sophs. Sould be very good.
Northgate- Huge losses of Peleyo, Kosturous, Kent, Bataska, Heise, and Cartwright. Looks to be a rebuilding year. Return Mertz, Begesen, Degarmo, and Hernandez. Solid player who will need big years. JV team was tops in DVAL which should help in rebuilding process.
College Park- Need some help here, but always a solid team.
Berean Christian- Look for big improvement here very young team that showed promise by beating College Park this season. Alexander Brothers will lead the way.
YV and Mt. Diablo - Probably more of the same from 2009

I agree. Clayton Valley will be the team to beat, but keep a close eye on concord. If CV is the team to beat then Concord is the team to beat them. Although they lost Morales and Alexander, they have a solid players to fill their gaps. Maybe not of Alexanders caliber, but watch out for Chris Lovejoy. Tall lefty that last year shutout clayton for 3 innings in relief. This year should be an exciting one=)
