Monte vista has its hands full once again as they face Amador Valley this Friday night...their big job is to find a way to stop the run....It won't be as serious as the DLS game but AV makes good use of the ground game.
Monte Vista Vs Amador Valley.....MV 35...Amador Valley 27....The Mustang's played a half a game last week and then could not muster any thing in the second half.....Amador has the job of controling MV at the line and keep Kottingham from ripping the Don's apart with his passing...
San Ramon Vs. DLS.....DLS 32..SRV 14.....After last week's battle with Monte vista, DLS should be better prepared....The wolves have to play two solid halves to stop DLS....I bet at half time last week...The DLS team had their ears ringing at half time as Lad preached fire and brimestone to get the Spartans in to adjustment and it always seems to work...
Granada Vs. Calif......Calif 30...Granada 20....This will be a tough game for both teams and neither can afford to loose..
Livermore Vs. Foothill....foothill 41..Livermore 13... After two losses in a row, Foothill can't afford to relax..

Concrete17....I thought that Mv would rebound after last weeks loose to DLS, but that went out the window...One of the guys said that Granada might do the job also to MV...The Mustang's had better being working on their ground defense because California wil do the same thing for sure....

Looks like the last couple weeks are showing the weakness of pass oriented offenses in the face of strong rushing teams. That could spell trouble for MV next week against Cal which seems to get a little stronger each week.

MV plays Cal in 3 weeks. MV hosts Foothill next week in a much needed win for both squads, while Cal travels to AV for a huge matchup. The other two games are Granada at DLS, and Livermore at SRV. I'm not sure if Foothill has the running game this year to exploit the Mustang's weakness, while Cal is in for trouble if they can't muster some 2nd half offense vs. AV. I'll go with all the home teams MV, AV, DLS and SRV next week.

isnt it interesting that Foothill/MV will be televised and yet, it turns out the Cal/AV game is more important. Im sure Mannion and Nottingham will entertain but as an EBAL fan I'd rather see the other game.
Cal/Av comes down to whose playmakers will come thru? Davis/Alvarez/Kaheler vs Stancil/Turray. The Cal o-line will also be key to this game. AV is gonna score some points so can the Cal o-line play some ball control and finish drives? What a great match up. The winner has the potential of #2 or #3 seed in NCS (assuming they close strong)

Could spell real trouble for me if I went to Cal next week to watch them play the Mustangs. That's what happens when I should be focused on working on my real job and not flipping back and forth on the computer. MY bad....thanks 001...better to hear it from you than some hormone, raging 15 year old.
