We got more total yards yesterday than the past two games combined against the Texans (165) and the Giants (124). We even had 36 yards more Ha ha. Good win yesterday, however I'm not sure you get your hopes up just yet. Seems like they took what Antonio Pierce said to heart, but its just a matter of if they took it to heart for the season or just for the next game.

Our D looked pretty darn good, but I'm not sure if we looked that good or it the Eagles just played that bad. I'm sure its a little bit of both, but I'm going to stand with Eagles played horribly until I see this team play consistant. I can actually believe that the Eagles will bounce back and play well in the next few weeks, I'm a bit skeptical with us.

I'm glad we won and all, and I hate to say "yeah, but..." since with this team every win should be cherished as we never know when the gods will smile upon as again.  So here it goes:

Yeah, but the Eagles missed two field goals.  They weren't gimmes, so props to the defense for keeping them out of gimme range, but if Akers makes those, we lose 15-13.  If we are going to win consistently, this team will need to put 20+ points on the board, one way or another, whether it be via offense, defense or special teams.  If the refs hadn't screwed Routt yesterday, that would have happened, but we need to be able to overcome the refs mistakes just as much as we need to overcome our own.

Don't mean to sound ungrateful or "glass is half empty", very happy to see the team notch another W.  Let's do it again, guys!

I totally agree with you. A win is a win no matter how ugly it is. The Eagles did miss two FGs, but at the same time a high powered offense like theres to hold without a TD is impressive. Our offense needs to get better and score more points it's nice to see Seabass out to a great start lets just get him more chances to hit FGs.

You don't sound ungrateful you sound realistic. We need to be consistant and we cant go out this week and flop against the Jets. They struggled against Buffalo who is also having a hard time getting things going. I think more of us would start believing in the team if they showed consistancy on a regular basis.

you have every right to be paranoid, 1 win only may add up to the prediction of 5 games, which is what i predicted....now that i think about it, had old dude made those field goals, we prolly would have lost, lol....

fargas all da way!!!

Ha ha I have been hearing the same crap from a lot of people and even more surprising I'm hearing it more often from other Raider fans. We got a win against a good team so enjoy it. We win that game if Routt didn't get screwed on the Int returned for a TD. We lose that game if Murphy doesn't make those blocks. Its football and things happen. How many games can you remember us losing cause we missed a FG? Shiot happens and its part of the game. Dont try to cheapen a good win when we out played them all game long. Its not like the KC game where we didn't out play them, we just did enough to get by.

You have a right to be worried because we are not consistant. I'm worried about the up coming Jets game because you don't know if were going to get last weeks Raider team or the one that got blown out for 3 straight week. I'm just saying that we beat a good team and hopefully its what they needed to wake up.

If we 'revert' to form with Schilens back, the season will officially be over...What Marshall does on D could tell that tale....The team won't play if Marshall is trumped by AD...

Man, Future, on rooting for a winning team, just act like you've been here before and it was meant to be that way....I mean, how dare anyone who doubted us...

The Jets are struggling right now, you're right. I wouldn't underestimate them though. They have a pretty tough D and Darrelle Revis is one of the best in the game right now. Its going to be a test and they are going to run the hell out of the ball. Lets just hope our D is up to the challenge. Ha Ha I think you should be happy with a win, just not overly confident.

and this is why you, myself and navi just doesn't know how to react to wins with this team....seymour guaranteeing us wins didn't help, i figured that tho....ths is why i don't get all that happy for us winning, because i know it is more than temporary....

yesterday was the most embarrasing loss since, well, 2 weeks ago.

we may not know how to win, but i tell ya what, we sure do excel at losing eh?....at least we can be proud of that.

peace

Another shameful loss. Sucks too cause I was watching the game with a Jets fan at the bar. Ha ha at least it went well enough that after I started ragging on how poor our offense was he really had nothing to say. Ha ha Its like making fun of a blind kid for not being able to see.

I'll tell you what though. The best thing to come out of that game was Russell. He looked more fired up on the sidelines than when he is in the game. Gradkowski I thought looked a bit better, but further proved that its not just the QB its the WRs that can't catch. I haven't read up on things yet, but it will be interesting to see if Russell starts again next week. I would make him earn his spot. At LSU he had to earn his spot and he fought for it and played very well and hopefully thats what happens.

Sucks because I expected us to come out with a bit more life. Turn the ball over on the first play and the rest was down hill. Never got anything going. We go from looking like a team ready to fight the rest of the season, to the team that should have lost to KC and got spanked 3 weeks straight.

hey chap....first and foremost i saw that MJ movie last night (premeire)....if you are an MJ fan, you should see it....if not, go see it anyway, lol...it's a two hour movie.

russ will start next week because al is the head maun and he is paying him too much money to sit....it's already been said that he would start after that game anyway, as soon as cable got to the podium he said outright russ will be the next week starter....we can leave it at that.

you heard about davis being irate at the win in philly because we blitzed too much?...it was on espn radio....they said he was upset over that, you notice we didn't blitz much if at all against ny right?

al pulled the plug on it.....that guy doesn't care if we win, if we win and do things against his will, he is still upset.....he only wants shiot to be done his way....i feel bad for marshall.

rame made a leadoff post about it....i am not sure if you saw the philly game but they kept panning the camera at al whenever we made a sack (while blitzing) and al as looking very pissed, never not once did he smile, nor pump his fist or anything.....so i am not suprised he did get upset at marshall for doing all that blitzing.

al really is holding this team back....hey tom was here yesterday, he broadcasted from our studios......peace maun

Yo man! I like MJ, just don't think I'm going to shell out the money to watch it in the theatre, I'll rent it when it comes out or buy it. Was it pretty good?

I went back and watched the game and if Russell doesn't fumble on the first drive and then throw 2 picks, he isn't having a bad game Ha ha. There are a lot of factors holding Russell back, but its mainly himself. I do think its a bit ridiculous when he gets pounded for going out to a basketball game, but it has been reported that he is coming in early now. Hopefully this is what he needs. He finally admitted to playing poorly, but there really is no reason not to start him. We're not going to win out the season so we may as well see what we have in Russell and see what he can do when the pressure is on. Maybe since everyone is bashing him he will start to get pissed and start making the WRs accountable for their drops or patterns.

We didn't blitz half as much against the Jets because they were torching us with the run. Hard to blitz with success when your running the ball really well. If you also noticed, we got torched on the few run plays we blitzed. Its kinda funny that you always tell me not to believe everything I hear in the media and yet you are all over this "Davis was pissed we blitzed" story. I don't really care either way, I just find it hard to believe any owner would be pissed about how you won. I wouldn't be surprised if we blitz again when we play a team that is pass heavy. I can't remember the last time I saw Davis smile during a game. I can't remember the last time I even saw emotion on Davis' face during a game.

truthfully i backed off speaking to you a lot because you and i were not on the same level in terms of agreeing with each other....my opinions of al davis were left, while yours was right....you seemed to cling to x's evaluaitons of bey, while i didn't....you thought the team would be better than what they have turned out to be, while i figured we would be this bad to begin with.

so far i have been right on everything i said times 2....bey can't catch to save his life, he has less catches than games he's played in so far....he dropped his first td yesterday, he complained to da refs for no reason at all when the ball dropped thru his hands....you guys "loved" to rip crabtree just for holding out and i'll be damned, he has more catches than bey already while sitting out the first 5 games....that makes bey and al davis look even worse.

in terms of al davis, you seemed to agree with me on that as time went on so no need to go there....

seymour will regret for making that guarantee, hell, he prolly already does.

anyhoo i backed off because you and i were not agreeing on anything....rather than go back and forth with someone i don't agree with, i just decided to chill out....more over i gave you my cell number and you never called, then i left you alone altogether.....for me that was a slap in the face...my closest buds on here i have all spoken to over da phone....peace
