Iff you live in Deer Valley area of Antioch. This is a Fundraiser for the SR. Class. People pay to have them( Senior leadership students) Flamingo you. You can then pay to have them removed, pay more and have them sent somewhere else, pay even more and have insurance that they never come back. It is all in fun and if a person does not want to pay they can choose not to and the flamingos will be removed with out probelm.
I was wondering how these pranksters were getting soo much money to afford soo many yard flamingos. Those ugly birds are kind of expensive (for what they are). But now I understand. Too cool.
A few weeks back, all those pink flamingos from that house down at 10th & "A"St. were gone for a while. Maybe they were loaned out. I hope the kids didn't "borrow" them without permission.
They get them from Oriental Trading Company. I believe there is also an option to purchase them when they are left on your lawn. I noticed the home you mentioned is for sale now.
