I tried to include this in BART Forum but it kept asking for a topic choice and did not allow me to make a choice. They looked like the choices were inactive. But, frustration is more exactly how I feel. This must be the right forum topic.

Can BART increase fares to whatever level they want? No!

If the fares go high enough, commuters will go back to their cars and join the shrinking solo drivers. The BART workers keep BART to themselves and high salary commuters go back to their solo driving. Gas is cheap, again, have you noticed?

With Global Warming increasingly being demonstrated, in most of the world, BART will join the ranks of the Enemy of the Bay Area and the world. But, "they" don't care. when it gets hot enough they will say "Beam me up, Scottie!"

You thought they were human? You think they are patriotic Americans asking "What can I do for my Country?" You think they let their sons and daughters go fight and die for us?

All they want is "MORE" not "enough" but all that is possible. They can go on strike and drive California to the ground. They are sure to survive, the politicians that begged them to accept all they wanted are ready to step in and do it again, and again, and again.

Let it be said that when the Bay Area asked for moderation in salaries, they gave us the salute Oligarchies always give the people. But, what if their children rebel, like children often do, and what if they join the Army to fight and defend the Nation. Will they be proud or embarrassed? Would they attend a sailors funeral and accept the hero's flag? I know one thing they would do, they will really cry and ask for compassion.  My only wish that they never have to see a mirror.
