Carol, Sleepless in Oakley: I, too, am owned by a 15 year old cat(spayed, indoor only). She has always been somewhat restless during the warm months and has become more vocal as she's gotten older. After a particularly obnoxious night I took her to the vet. She is hyperthyroid and has been started on treatment. She was not particularly active(except at night), and had no increase in appetite, which I would have expected. She has been started on treatment and she seems to be slightly calmer. I am hopeful we can all sleep soon!
