Hey everyone,
I wanted to inform everyone that today (2/6/09) is Go Red day. What is Go Red ? Going red today is to let people know of how cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number one killer of women. No, it's not breast cancer or any other types of cancer. It's cardiovascular disease like strokes and heart attacks. One of the scariest things I've learned is that only 13% of women know of how dangerous CVD is despite solemn statistic of 1 in 3 women dying of CVD (1 in 30 die of breast cancer). So, in light of this, grab a red t-shirt, jacket, raincoat, and wear red to support this cause of informing others, men and women alike of how dangerous CVD is. Pass it on !! :)
