Yes i heard them also, i live off of lonetree way& putnam. alot of people called in about them, but then one police officer said they were fireworks. i belive they were gun shots.
multiple bangs around 4am-4:30 in the Cavallo area are a regular thing and have been for a couple years now, im down round the east times building and usually awake at that time. cant tell if their gunshots or fireworks but sometimes they seem just a little to close together to be a simi auto, dunno if this is what you heard

I live on East Madill and I definitely heard them. It woke my husband and I up out of a dead sleep. I know what a gun sounds like, and that definitely wasn't fireworks.
