It is no wonder every thing is so screwed up these days. I remember as a kid the 4th of July was a really big deal. Family's together, BBQ's, picnics, fireworks, ect. Anything you forgot to buy the day before had to be bought at a convienice store because no stores were open. This weekend I realized that everything was open not once did I smell charcoal burning and I listened to Mexican/Spanish music being blasted from the Mex market in the walmart parking lot. Not one "God bless America" or "Star Spangled Banner" . Does that mean that the Mexicans living in America are the only one grateful for the Independence that our ancestors fought for ? But then you all know I question our independence and the goverment the way it is today. I figure I live in a bush but I still try to have enough pride in this country and what our flag stands for to make sure I vote. I may not like the goverment all of the time, But this is my country my home my city. So I want to say Happy Birthday America.
