Just when we thought we couldn't be any more proud of our Pittsburg High School Pirates Marching Show Band and their upcoming performance in the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, they have been selected as one of fifteen bands from across the country to compete in an online contest for the chance of performing on live television, along with college bands, at the Super Band Bowl in Las Vegas! But you must vote online by 4:59PM this coming Monday, October 26 at the website (CCTimes no longer allows links) that has the 3 w's. superbandbowl. and the com to get them there!  Besides the one year bragging rights and the all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas, Pitt's band program will receive $100,000.00!  The bay area, especially our city and our district, has come through for these kids in a HUGE way to get them to NYC. Please consider this appeal and exercise your fingers, VOTE as many times as their servers will allow!
