I have not been to the horse races in over 25 years. Does anyone have a good tip on a horse running Friday? I would like to come home with a bit more than I take.
Any horse Russell Baze is riding. That guy can could win riding a donkey backwards!
Or just pick the one with the coolest name you can identify with! My brother went to the track once and he didn't know what he was doing, but he likes basketball so he put his money on a horse called Free Throw and won!
For you, Smokey, any horses with these names would be perfect:
1. Red Hatter (2-1)
2. Smokes No More (10-1)
3. Trashcan Violator (8-1)
4. Society Sleuth (5-1)
5. Trailer on Blocks (15-1)
6. Subwoofer Hoofer (4-1)
7. SpareAdollar? (9-2)
8. Old Bitty Pity (7-5)
9. Desperate Realtorwives (6-1)
10. Hoarse Butcher (5-2)
Do I get a cut if you win? I usually charge for good advice like that! LOL
They had to scratch Red Hatter because they knew with all the Red Hats going there Friday they would all bet on the same horse and screw up the handicap!

Here are my picks for Friday.
Pretty Lucky Lady, I Have More Fun, Kiss My Crown,(I am a Queen) Ready To Roar, Deanne's Ring(my dghtrs name),Awesome Girl. Do you think they picked these horses to run because it is Red Hat Day?
Hey Smokie, If you're a Dennis Richmond fan, he's going to be saluted at Golden Gate Fields Saturday. He's bringing 40 of his pals to the track for the event.
Smokie's going on Friday, but who knows, she might get addicted to betting on the ponies and come back for Saturday night and catch the Dennis Richmond tribute too!
Well by the 5th race I threw out all my knowledge and theory about horses, jockeys and trainers. I remembered how my husband would pick horses. He always said, bet on the gray horse. Finally we all won something. It was a lot of fun and great to see a sea of Red Hats all enjoying themselves. There was 300 to 400 Red Hats all in the turf room.
Did Russell Baze win any of the races? BJ was right about him. I went to the track once, and that guy won almost every time. Hopefully, Baze was on the grey horse.
Baze won 2 out of five of his races. I don't like betting on him as the odds are so low. Not much pay-off even if he wins. He was not on the grey horse, it paid real good.

400 at post time, but the wind blew 100 away, so 300 Red Hats at the finish!
