They just need to get their minds on the game and forget the distractions. Right when the Bonds circus is over and there's hope of a return of a team mentality, here comes the specter of Crazy Crab to dominate the news.

Now I know how that Lobster in the news a while back was half orange and half black. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Carl: This place got a pool? Sanchez threw a gem today. If Cain can get some run support, he'll be fine. The other day was a fluke. The bats are coming alive against good pitching. These guys are going to be a pleasant surprise and they're fun to watch. No one expects them to end up above .500 and that's to their advantage if they can stay loose.

Winn should have taken charge on that pop up in the first. Not that it would have made much of a difference. To paraphrase Giants superfan Chris Russo (WFAN New York) speaking about Pedro Feliz last year. "BARRY ZITO ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! HE'S UNWATCHABLE" ........Damn 6-0 before the Gigantes take the field...........Go SHarks.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carl Spackler: This crowd has gone deadly silent, a Cinderella story outta nowhere. Former greenskeeper and now about to become the masters champion.

Excellent article in this morning'sTimes by Gary Peterson about the reason the Giants got into this debacle with Zito. You can't lay this all at Sabean's feet. I'm sure the entire Giants "brain" trust is responsible. I couldn't believe my ears when I first head about this deal and now there are a bunch of us "I told you so's" out here. What a complete waste of money.

When will ownership figure out Bochy is not a "manager". Is he on drugs? A poor manager of our pitching staff. Why didn't he take out Cain after 6. He forgets who we have in the bullpen.
