I have found the following website invalable in presenting news about the invasion that the main stream media chooses you not see.

http://www.americanpatrol.com/index.html

Stories found in todays posts include -

Did you know that Congress hit single-digit approval ratings this week for the first time ever? In other words, less than 10% of our nation think their representatives represent them. Wait a minute ... our population is 300M, illegal alien invaders about 30M ... hmmmmmm.

Did you know that the FDA has finally turned to inspecting produce coming across our southern border for the source of salmonella? And that more drugs are being found stashed among the veggies? And that el Presidente Bush supports the expansion of allowing Mexican trucks free reign to our highways per NAFTA? And the salmonella outbreak is not confined to the traditional buffer zone Mexican trucks were formerly limited?

That Juan McAmnesty spoke before the racist Hispanic group LULAC about securing our border first, then amnesty, while comic books from Mexico are being sold in WalMart depicting Cubans as Negros in demeaning and insulting situations?

That a Federal judge let invaders go because he didn't think a Social Security number is used for identity purposes? (Why, no, he didn't release his SSN as an example of how benign his decision was. He may be an idiot, but he isn't crazy!)

I haven't checked the figures, but one estimate is the cost of illegal aliens for 2007 is $346,000,000,000.

... about the Loony Left?  I don't care about extreme Neo-Cons, either, I fight them both with equal passion.  If ICE is looking, ride the Walnut Creek downtown bus shuttle sometime, new moms without a word of English using it as a free ride for hours.  Car washes, Monument Blvd.  The graffiti is going up all over town, and there seem to be more here than ever.  ICE has its work cut out for it.

but they do serve one purpose--they are fun to play with and so dumb they can easily be trapped by their own words.

As for the buses, I think WC is a santuary city that bars ICE agents. Concord definately is.

And is it too racist to point out that the cities with the highest crime rates have the greater number of illegal aliens?

It's really amazed that $346,000,000,000 cost of illegal aliens. US is spending that much of money?

This is an article worth reading about dealing with the invasion in Connecticut. It describes the actions of the state in removing (and deporting) a mother from her kids who were being abused.

http://www.projo.com/news/content/supreme_court_immigration_07-20-08_1VA...

I find a couple of things troubling in this case. The first is that Ct. allowed the woman to remain in the U.S.A. knowing she was pregnant. This implies that a fetus has U. S. citizenship 'status' even if the mother is an illegal alien. The second problem is when the child was born (here) it and its sibling who had a foreign status became wards of the state of Connecticut. Should these kids be allowed to vote, or, better yet, become President? Should they be returned to their country of origin? After all, they probably did not have counsel from their countries of origin during their hearings.

I guess after seeing cases like this, the fact that Obama can't produce his birth certificate, and McCain was born in a part of the world not covered by citizenship rights at the time are minor compared to the hassles these kids face.

Sorry for the cut-n-paste, but this is a nice summary of what "comprehensive immigration reform' should be about.

In the wake of the murder in San Francisco of a father and his two sons, ages 20 and 16 years old, by an illegal alien, Mayor Gavin Newsom blamed his city’s illegal alien sanctuary policy on our "broken immigration system". If our immigration system weren’t broken, argued the mayor of the city that kicked off the sanctuary movement back in 1989, we wouldn’t have needed to break federal immigration laws in the first place.

Oh, those wacky San Franciscans.

Washington, stung into action by the constant stream of abuse and blame-casting hurled at it by the rebellious teenagers running San Francisco, decided to do something to fix the nation’s broken immigration policies. The nation’s capital stepped back and surveyed the mountain of brokenness.

Let’s see. Which broken part of immigration policy should we fix first?

Should we fix the broken refugee part, which has spawned a refugee resettlement industry in this country that’s paid by the head?

Or should we fix the broken labor and employment visa part, the H-1B, H-1C, H-2A, H-2B, H-3, L, O-1, O-2, P-1, P-2, P-3, Q-1, T53, T52, T51, SR3, SR2, SR1, SM5, SM4, SM3, SM2, SM1, SJ2, SJ1, SD3, SD2, SD1, R51, EW5, EW4, EW3, E35, E34, E32, E31, E23, E22, E21, E15, E14, E13, E12, E11, C53, C52, C51 parts, which generally benefit one small rich influential group of Americans at the expense of a much larger, but insufficiently corrupt, group of Americans?

Or should we fix the broken ethnic preferences part, which has members of ethnic caucuses in Congress coordinating legislative activity with foreign governments and running citizenship mills out of their district offices?

Or should we fix the broken chain immigration part, which is both doubling US population within the lifetimes of today’s children and radically remaking the country’s demographics at the same time—both phenomena subject to entirely unpredictable consequences, both accomplished against the wishes of the majority of Americans, and both direct contradictions of the promises made by the main architect of the policy, Ted Kennedy, Massachusetts senator and, it was announced Friday, recipient of the Aguila Azteca, the highest honor Mexico can bestow on a foreigner?

Or should we fix the broken "free trade business immigration" part? Or the broken political asylum part? Or the broken visa fraud part? Or the broken welfare abuse part? Or the broken borders part? Or the broken fraudulent ID part? Or the broken "sham marriages" part? Or the broken "[bleep]" part? Or the broken "birth tourism" part? Or the broken "diversity lottery" part? Or the broken "affidavit of support" part? Or the broken EOIR part? Or the broken AILA part? Or the broken PERM part? Or the broken VAWA part? Or how about even the broken "sanctuary city" part?

Well, with so many choices between what to fix, the Washington politicians, and the Washington influence-peddlers, and the Washington Post, and the Washington headquarters of the US Chamber of Commerce, and various other profiteers, parasites, and trough-squatters all got together in a big meeting (what? you weren’t invited?) to decide where to start.

After the appropriate amount of influence-peddling for such a big task, they came up with a plan of action.

The Washington establishment’s fix—the one major fix for our broken immigration policies that stands a chance of passing this year—is an effort in Congress to let die the one part of immigration policy that’s actually working and, in fact, fixing our broken immigration system—the E-Verify program.

Oh, those wacky Washingtonians.

It’s safe to say we’re probably not going to get much in the way of fixing (as in, putting in working order again) immigration policy from Washington anytime soon. And we’re probably not going to get anything helpful from San Francisco, either (though we’re probably in for a few more rounds of subversive foot-stamping, and juvenile finger-pointing, and irresponsible grand-standing, and tragedies that could have been avoided).

So, it’s up to those Americans in between, clinging to their guns and their religion and fearful of people that don’t look like them, to pull the nation through, again, —to fix the mess Washington and San Francisco created.

It’ll be up to the general contracting company in Fort Collins, Colorado and the furniture maker in Suffolk County, Long Island, and all the other tens of thousands of American businesses that are now voluntarily using the E-Verify system to ensure they are following the law even when doing so puts them at a competitive disadvantage against competitors who hire illegally.

They are special, these employers, and their swelling numbers could save E-Verify, in spite of Congress’ best efforts to fix immigration.

Imagine how truly bold an affront it would be to these employers—and to the rule of law—if lawmakers in Washington dared let E-Verify die even as its use soared. Imagine how brazenly corrupt it would appear if Congress pulled the rug out from under employers who play by the rules by killing their best hope that, eventually, they’ll be able to compete again on a level playing field.

The momentum behind the E-Verify program is building, and if efforts like e-VeriFILE, a new service that registers and identifies employers who use E-Verify, catch on, if employers who play fair begin to be rewarded for it rather than penalized, the use of E-Verify will continue its explosive growth, and Congress won’t dare try to fix it.

This article is about the 'American' wrestler who is an admitted 'a' 'n' 'c' 'h' 'o' 'r'  'b' 'a' 'b' 'y' of illegal alien parents. The amnesty of aliens occurred in 1985, and his parents trespassed the border in 1987. So the question is, was he eligible to even join the American team?

The Federal program that reimbursed hospitals less than 10 cents on the dollar for emergency care to illegal aliens is set to expire in Oct. There are no plans to reinstate it. It provided $250M / year for 4 years. None of the money was used to care for U.S. citizens.

ref: http://idexer.com/2008/08/28/hospitals-lose-immigrant-care-money.html

I love the comment telling the Feds where to put their UNFUNDED MANDATE to treat illegal aliens in emergency rooms. If hospitals treat them, they'll close down from bankruptcy, and if they don't treat them, the Feds will close them down? Either way they're scruuuuud ...

Hey! Maybe the state run hospitals should start shipping the illegal aliens to the hospitals our Congresscritters rely on, and start stacking up the emergency rooms there!

The raid on the Jewish meat-processing plant in Iowa recently by ICE has brought into focus labor unions and their illegal alien constituents. As a result of the raid the U.S. Supreme court may be called on to invalidate the current practice of allowing illegal aliens to join labor unions, since new laws were passed since the Appeals case which deny the right of illegal aliens to hold jobs here.

Absurd case shows mess caused by illegal hirings

'Too bad they both can't lose."

That was former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger's comment on the Iran-Iraq War, which broke out in 1980 and lasted for nearly eight years.

His observation and the same kind of contempt for the behavior of the participants come easily to mind when we take a look at the legal battle between Agriprocessors and the United Food and Commercial Workers union.

Agriprocessors is the largest kosher meat-processing company in the United States. Its plant in Postville, Iowa, has for some time been the scene of conflict with the federal government, primarily over the hiring of illegal immigrants, but also violations of child labor laws. A recent raid there by Immigration and Customs Enforcement resulted in the arrest of 389 workers, 302 of whom have already pleaded guilty to either immigration violations or other criminal charges.

Agriprocessors is not the first, and certainly not the only, company in America to hire illegal immigrants, or to become dependent on them for its profitability. Still, there is no doubt that, as they say, they "took it to the next level." Since 2002, for example, the Social Security Administration has notified the company of over 3,000 discrepancies in employee identification numbers and records.

But it was in Brooklyn, New York that the Agriprocessors story climbed to the comic opera stage. The company operates a small plant there and about three years ago workers voted, 15-5, to join the UFCW. The company subsequently refused to recognize the union, saying that it had "discovered" that seventeen of the twenty workers who voted were illegal aliens and had no right to join the union. These workers were fired and replaced -- with, the union claims, other illegal immigrant workers.

The National Labor Relations Board saw it differently, citing a 1984 Supreme Court decision that, it says, affirmed the right of illegal immigrant workers to join unions. The company challenged that ruling but the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington sided with the NLRB.

Now Agriprocssors is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their argument that the 1984 ruling should be reversed. It is basing its case on the changed view of illegal immigrants -- including enforcement -- and on the passage, in 1986, of a federal law making it a crime to hire illegal aliens.

So now the stage is set. We have a company with a history of hiring illegal immigrants, pleading to the U.S. Supreme Court for a ruling that would get rid of the union but also, as a logical, if unintended, consequence, make the firm guilty of a crime. And on the other side we have a union that, while not conducting itself in quite the unsavory manner as its adversary, still wants to organize illegal immigrant workers, something that common sense would tell us would itself be illegal. And, as an accounting subplot, there is the issue of illegal workers paying dues so that they can enjoy the benefits of such things as a pension. Oh, wait, that's not going to happen with all that false documentation.

Well, at least while they are working they can contribute, just as they pay into Social Security, with no hope of ever collecting anything in return. The Social Security Administration has over $660 billion in its "Earnings Suspense File" account, which is where payroll tax payments from illegal immigrants usually end up. How much money from illegal immigrant workers' pension contributions might be in union suspense or holding accounts is anybody's guess.

The 1984 Supreme Court decision -- Sure-Tan, Inc. vs. NLRB -- that is now at the center of this opera is itself more than a bit messy. After a pro-union vote, the employer turned in its own workers to the immigration authorities. As a result, six of the seven workers involved in the vote left the U.S. in order to avoid deportation. The NLRB said that the employer's actions were an unfair labor practice -- an improper "constructive discharge" --and the court agreed.

For those totally disillusioned with election year politics there is a Web site business that will sell you a yard sign that proclaims, "Too Bad They Can't All Lose." And while I don't share that view of politics, it is difficult to shake that same feeling about this legal case. It is very hard to find any heroes.

Still, it would be very helpful for the U.S. Supreme Court to take on the thankless task of deciding this matter, if only to clarify what needs to be done by the Congress to set things straight. After four decades of bi-partisan avoidance of the illegal immigration issue, it's not surprising that the law is messy too. It's time to clean it up.

NEED TO CALL THIS WEEK! - Sen.(or) Menendez is holding the eVerify program at ransom for 550,000 foreign workers, plus their dependents, plus their extended families, ad nauseum.

If you haven't contacted your legislator, follow this link to contact them (Senoritas Boxer and Feinstein). Tell them to tell Menendez to back off. eVerify is 99.5% accurate at last audit, and is a primary tool for uncovering illegal aliens in the workplace. This is the last week for Congress to be in session until January!!

Even if only1-in-10,000 was a terrorist, with the 2004 estimate of 12M illegal aliens, that would be 1200 terrorists. The threat is real. This article questions how many of the defaulting home loans were issued to illegal aliens.

Hispanic Invaders Displaced by Somali

Here is an article of irony. A meatpacking plant that 20 years ago was paying American workers  $20 / hr + benefits to union members was raided recently by ICE. The illegal aliens who were being paid $12 / hr (mostly Hispanic) were replaced by an infusion of Somali refugee immigrants.

Now the Somalis are demanding breaks to pray that interrupt all the workers in the plant.

Invasion of Washington, D.C. Planned!

Hope you can read Spanish, the language of the invading army. As such, it claims to be concerned with 'immigrants', but only those that can read Spanish, apparently.

CHIRLA En Las Noticias: Obama debe detener redadas (Hoy Los Angeles)

This country is being invaded by illegals.  Simple as that.  They cost far more than they contribute.  This state is broke as a result of accepting this nonsense.  They contribute nothing to the culture.  Rather they attack the culture that is the envy of the world.  Real patriots will not submit to the country being ruined by aliens.

http://www.federaltimes.com/index.php?S=3881352

This could prove interesting as the code has gone from a trial to being extended as a useful tool against the unflagging waves of illegal aliens invading America. It was most recently given a temporary 'stay of execution' by Congress that expires in February, I believe. It will be interesting to see what Acting President Joe Biden does with it.

Immigration involves paperwork, agreeing to follow the laws of the federal and state governments, like most immigrant families who now call the USA home.

Invasion is done illegally, using fake a SS# to avoid paying taxes into the society that provides for you

As to another comment made here, many hispanic/latino publications exist which print information on how to illegally get across borders into the USA.

I welcome everyone, but I welcome them under the same circumstances that my family had to enter the country.

Environmental Impact Report

Here's a preview of the cost of Obama's plan to increase the population of the United States 10% ovrenight. Make no mistake - our useless and arrogant Congress is set to pass amnesty in the first couple of weeks of Obama's reign, before the SCOTUS can rule on his eligibility to hold that office.

Hype We Can't Afford ...

This article from the LA(ughable) Times is total nonsense being passed for 'news'. Note the pro-invasion 'arguments' occupy 4 times the space given that of anti-invasion logic. And in the first few sentences the logic goes from '...economy ... could not be restored' to '... is a necessity...' to '... would help the recovery ...'. And not a single economic authority is cited to back these wild exaggerations and claims. Add the standard tactic of confusing illegal aliens with immigrants and nonsensical terms like 'undocumented immigrant', and throw in the standard liberal 'breaking families apart' without naming the parents as the responsible parties, and you have the typical tripe that guarantees the paper will be bankrupt in a few short months. Mercifully.

Immigration And The Stimulus Bill

The Democrans plan to strip e-Verify provisions out of the stimulus bill in order to support their invasion and Balkanization of the U.S. population.

But the House Democrats approved it and Senate Democrats peeled it away, a version of the old political con game played out in Washington to trick the suckers back home.

"They get to tell their constituents, 'See, I voted for it.' But they never really wanted it in the first place," Sessions said.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/columnists/chi-kass-11-feb11,0,657719.column

Then Ed Rollins slams the Obaminator with his mini-state of the economy speech at his first press conference -

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/11/rollins.obama/index.html?eref=rss...

He said, "at this particular moment, with the private sector so weakened by this recession, the federal government is the only entity left with the resources to jolt our economy back to life. It is only government that can break the vicious cycle where lost jobs lead to people spending less money which leads to even more layoffs."

I ask, what resources does the federal government have? We are broke, too!

Real transparency would have been walking to the podium and saying, "Friends: This thing is a lot worse then I thought. Just like many of you, we are way over our budget. Some of you bought houses you couldn't afford. Many of you spent more money than you made and put the stuff you couldn't afford on your credit cards. The banks were irresponsible, and Wall Street was greedy, but I have to admit to you, the guys and gals over in the Congress have been spending at record rates, too. And they still have a bunch of pet projects they want to spend on, too. That's why this bill got bloated.

"And, oh, by the way, the $800 billion that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid want to spend is money we don't have. The U.S. is broke just like you are, and the banks that I have to borrow from are thousands of miles away in China. We are going to spend $1 trillion-plus more than we take in this year in revenue, and next year it will be $2 trillion. That's on top of the $10.8 trillion that we owe in national debt.

"And if you don't think the banks have any money, the Federal Reserve is loaning them trillions."

Property Rights vs Invaders

I thought I would present this story to balance the perspective presented by the MSM whose propaganda is being used to advance the invasion. The MSM is quick to point out the damages awarded to the illegal aliens in the recent court case against the U.S. rancher, Barnett. This article points out the lie of omission the MSM is guilty of.

Here Is AMNESTY II!

Here it is folks. Expect to see it come out of committee shortly. Read carefully sections 501, 502, 503. Amnesty for 30M illegal aliens and their spawn. A 10% population increase at the stroke of a pen without the benefit of an environmental, let alone, cultural impact report.

More On Amnesty II

Thanks to the unending efforts of the Obamabots we can look forward to another amnesty / shamnesty / scamnesty from the White House. The timing seems to support my hypothesis that the e-Verify program was purposely left out of the jobs stimulation package in order to sweeten the upcoming Amnesty II.

"And then we've got to have comprehensive immigration reform," Obama told the radio audience, according to a transcript. "It's going to take some time to move that forward, but I'm very committed to making it happen."

Obama further said his administration plans to "convene leadership

" on the issue "so that we can start getting that legislation drawn up over the next several months."

When Squatters Become Invaders

March 03, 2009, 8:22 p.m.

DAVID L. TEIBEL
Tucson Citizen

Three men arrested in a violent home invasion Sunday were well equipped and appeared to have experience or at least training in the crime, a Tucson police spokesman said Tuesday.

The men, who claimed to be Tucson police officers, had bullet-resistant vests, gloves, weapons and dark-colored masks; moved quickly in the home they targeted; and seemed to have planned the heist, Sgt. Fabian Pacheco said.

But the plan fell apart when a victim followed the intruders from the home, relaying such information as the description of their car and direction of travel to a 911 operator who relayed the information to patrol officers rushing to the scene, Pacheco said.

One male victim was struck by an assault rifle and required stitches to close the head wound. Another male victim hit in the head with a rifle did not require treatment, and a woman in the home was uninjured, Pacheco said.

"This isn't their first rodeo," Pacheco said. "It appears they had some sort of training or experience."

Arrested in the case were Alejandro J. Templeton, 19, of the 500 block of West Elvira Road; Alejandro C. Mendoza, 31, of the 0 to 100 block of East Laguna Street; and Tony Maldonado, 22, of the 100 block of West Oklahoma Street. All three were booked into the Pima County Jail on charges of kidnapping, armed robbery, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault, a jail records clerk said.

Templeton and Maldonado were ordered held on a $25,000 cash-only bail; Mendoza, without bail on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

Pacheco gave this account of the robbery :

Three men went to a home in the 2500 block of North Estrella Avenue just before midnight Sunday.

The door was unlocked and the three entered, yelling "TPD."

They demanded OxyContin, a powerful painkiller, but instead got heart medicine, Pacheco said. They also demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry.

After getting their loot, the men fled early Monday in a car that officers later found abandoned in the 100 block of West Delano Street.

Officers found inside the car the two assault rifles they believe were used in the robbery, three pairs of gloves and three bullet-resistant vests. A pistol was found nearby.

Officers quickly surrounded the area, and an extensive search turned up Templeton, Mendoza and Maldonado.

Pacheco said two other vehicles were seen rushing from the robbery scene when the suspects fled and those passengers may have been involved in the case, too. Descriptions of those vehicles and their occupants were not available.

Amnesty II, Part 1

Obama is trying a different tactic this time around for amnesty. By splitting it into two parts, he may think it easier to sneak it through. This first part gives amnesty to illegal alien children. Of course both our Sen.(oritas) are co-sponsors. Time to light up the switchboard again!!

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/D?d111:1:./temp/~bdSyws:@@@P|/bss/111search.html|

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/D?d111:1:./temp/~bdfEMq:@@@P|/bss/111search.html|

They pulled this stunt in 1986 and swore then it was a one-time action. Note the biggest liar at that time, Sen.(or) Kennedy, is lying through his teeth again on this bill.

When Is A Law Not A Law?

Apparently when Obama appoints the likes of Napolitano to head up the DHS. In a recent Dan Stein Report he catches an obvious Napolitano error that would normally be cause for termination of employment - lack of understanding subject matter necessary to perform the job. I'll bet you won't see this on MSM infotainment.

Upcoming Navarette Story

Watch for the spin by Navarette on this story about the rape of an American girl by an illegal alien invader. He will probably want to write about it because of the 'race' of the perpetrator.

The Real Hispanic Immigrants Speak Out

One of the basic ploys of the illegal alien invaders and their support groups (ACLU, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, La RAZA, LULAC, SEIU, etc.) is to confuse the term 'immigrant' with the proper term of 'illegal alien' as defined in U.S. Code when referencing squatters from other countries. This article makes this apparently clear that the Hispanic immigrants in the U.S. consider themselves citizens and oppose further invasion or amnesty foisted upon us by our 'representatives' in government.

Our 'Secure' Southern Border

A picture is worth a thousand words. The vehicle barrier that comprises the 'fence' along the border is typical of the claimed 'fencing' along hundreds of miles of the southern border. On this basis the invader supporters in Congress say our border is secure enough to talk about Amnesty II. I say BULLSHOOT!!

How The Visa Scam (H1-b, TN) Works

This article is an update on the foreign worker aircraft mechanics that can't read the repair manuals because they're printed in English. It seems the company is laying off American mechanics, but claiming to the Chamber of Commerce they have a shortage of mechanics at the same time. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is a major promoter of foreign workers.

Let Loose the Hounds! ...

Now this is an interesting twist. The Feds unfunded mandate to house illegal alien invader criminals currently covers about 12% of the state's cost, and Obama has cut THOSE woefully inadequate funds from his proposed budget. So the Schwarz is pondering turning the invaders over to the feds with an early release in order to save $182M. The problem is, the feds capacity to hold them is ... nil. Maybe those non-existant FEMA 'relocation centers' will come in handy after all. We're talking approximately 15,000 from this state alone, and the Feds have 33k cells total, with a waiting line.

Amnesty II v. Homeland Security

This is a damning article on current immigration policies since Obama took control. Just recently a number of attorneys pleaded guilty to immigration fraud in hundreds of asylum cases. And the Feds are asking themselves if it's necessary to investigate those asylees. And they needed a college degree to apply for their jobs.

Senate Rescucitates eVerify!

In a close call the Senate voted to make eVerify the potent tool it can become to ferret out the illegal alien invaders from America's workplace.

Of course, both of our Sen(oritas) voted against its implementation. Also, check out the poll about providing health benefits to illegal aliens under Obama's 'reform'.

I know how to do it, once and for all! We negotiate a unification deal with Mexico and the seven nations of central America. We would then have about 90 states overall. We would have to figure out how to arrange the stars on the flag. And adapt to being bilingual. But then, there would be no illegal immigration, because we would all be American citizens. (It would be difficult for South Americans to crosss the Darien Gap- it's like a bottleneck. And we would still have to watch out for Haitians and Cubans trying to enter by boat). Another plus is that we could probably win the World Cup.

SF Catch & Release = Murder

Yet another case of murder. In this one, a previously deported illegal alien was deported a second time after participating in a stupid murder. Usually it takes weeks to deport someone (or in Obama's aunt's case, years), yet this perpetrator was assisted out of the country in the time it took SFPD to identify him.

eVerify Vindicated!

A federal court rejected all the U.S. Chamber of Commerce arguments of how eVerify should not be mandatory for government contractors (and subcontractors). So the executive order issued under Bush will resume in force on Sept 8. You can find the story on the Numbers USA web site. Now if they would only fire Napolitano and get enforcement back in gear (now that Chappiquiddic Ted is gone).

BREWSTER - A 24-year-old village man suspected of being in the United States illegally was arrested on a felony charge after he was accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old boy, police said.

The boy told a doctor during an Oct. 30 appointment that he had been sexually abused, according to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The doctor reported the incident to police, who arrested the suspect on Wednesday after serving him with a search warrant.

Nelson Mendez-Depaz was charged at his home at 53 Oak St. with first-degree sexual abuse. He was being held without bail in Putnam County jail.

Police said the abuse happened at the suspect's home. Other details were not released.

The federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency placed a retainer on the case, preventing the suspect from being released until investigators determine his immigration status.

The suspect is due in Village Court tonight.
