Actually it is sad to see that the writers like Cam are doing their best to try and run Tom out of town. If Tom was winning, none of this would surface. In essence, you guys are trying your best to force Al into a corner. Unfortunately this time the PR thing is going to look bad based on the way you guys portray him. Writers can take 1 item 20 yrs ago and twist it into something huge.
Cam, you sure your record is clean 20 years ago? You wouldnt want us to dig on you would you?

Agree with jm95054. We have to remember that no too long ago Can Inman was covering high school sports. Perhaps he is not yet ready for prime time.

Stop with this politically correct character assasination. The guy a had a beef with his wife 20 years ago so you call him a 'wife beater'. How irresponsible. Did she go to the hospital? No. Was there a pattern of beatings? No. Did the police say he did anything wrong? No.
This type of irresponsible writing really diminishes 'real' wife beatings'. Because of this slander people will start to disregard the real bad occurrance of wife beating.
I think what may be going on here is the media doesn't like Al Davis and want to hurt his Raiders any way they can. The media thought they had Cable on the broken jaw instance and pontificated 'how terrible' this was. Cable must be fired !! When it turned out there was nothing there Cam did you and your politically correct media buddies appologize to Cable? Nooo.
Now you and the rest of the media thugs have another chance to 'get' Cable and hurt the Raiders. Did it ever occur to you guys you are not reporters but advocates?

I cant believe you fans in here are supporting Tom Cable. Cam is right. Having a CONFESSED wife beater as a head coach is UNACCEPTABLE. Even if he was WINNING..which he is not. The Raiders under Cable have the worst pass offense in the HISTORY of the NFL. Our stadium is half full! Remember who is calling the plays...TOM CABLE! Now granted, we do have a big, fat, dumb load of CHIT at QB. That can't make it too easy for Cable. Russell is so dumb that the coaching staff must condense the playbook to what Jon Gruden said was half of an average playbook. Let me ask you the reader a simple question: If you got paid 67 million dollars to play QB in the NFL, wouldn't you at least show up to training camp in shape?
