It's been a while since I posted on this forum, partly because I've been busy, partly because there's been nothing to talk about. However, I have to comment, that Jamarcus holding his own get together with the WR's and TE's is magnificent. He's stepping up into that leadership role. It's been a long while since we've had someone step up to take charge. Hopefully they will build themselves as a team and get some good chemistry going into training camp. I still think the Oline and the DT positions will be a challenge, but am looking forward to seeing JRuss pass this year. That's the first time I've ever said that. Wow.

after giving him a $60 million contract.
gets hammered time after time for missing meetings, skipping everything including film session, wearing bling everywhere he goes..........
then he FINALLY gets forced to step up and does one thing and then some MORON comes and says "look what a great leader he is".
pathetic. i have an idea, wait 3 years from now prior to giving him any kudo's

What's up Nav? Don't listen to those posers like the one that just posted before me. He'll always find something to cry about. He reminds me of those fans that turn over police cars and light things on fire after a championship. They're not really fans but just look for an excuse to cause problems.
Stories about Russell have been greatly exaggerated. With the amount of Raider haters out there we're going to hear some crap. How about people giving him some credit for being a quality individual. He's not making it rain anywhere, he's not drunk driving, and he's taking care of the homeless. He's not going to be a bust. People like usual will pretend they never said anything negative instead of stepping up and saying they were wrong.
Russell is going to start up where he left off last year. That's making smart plays and not throwing INTs. He's going to hand it off to the dynamic running game and play the inside out game. When they plug the box he'll hit our boy Miller over the middle or someone else streaking down the sideline. Like I've said before we're not looking to make the playoffs just get our name off of the worst in the NFL list.
Now on to Fantasy football.......

Hey man, it's been a while. Trust me, I do not even read posts from that guy. You're dead on about those kinds of fans.
LOL, making it rain....Anytime $80K is used as a prop, the night isn't going to end well.
He does sound like a decent guy. Although, I am still reserved on his ability. He has the power, but seems to lack decision making skills and control, although our line is the biggest reason we can't be aggressive. As I'm sure you know, I didn't want to draft him, but we did. I'm still reserved, but he's stepping in the right direction.
Yeah, I'm ready for football season. I coach T-Ball, and we lost our last tournament game last night, even though we'll get a division runner up trophy, and placed 4th in the league, I'm a little upset we didn't beat the team we lost to. But, I'm thankful it's over, because I have a month and a half before I start coaching little league football, and not to mention, starting the fantasy football league and taking your crown!!!
This is been a tough week for me though with the tournament loss, I didn't get the TBALL VP board position, and I also didn't get a promotion I interviewed for....

I'm not completely sold on JRuss either. I didnt want them to draft him either. I thought it was a better idea to bring a proven free agent QB in. I wanted Calvin Johnson that year. Just like I wanted a OT this year or even Crabtree. I hope I'm wrong. Doesnt do any good to not support them once they're here though.
Little league just finished here too. What a grind. Seemed like I was at the park every day. Good job on the coaching. Things don't always go as they should but teaching fundamentals and good sportsmanship is key. Sounds like you put a lot on your plate each year. Coaching isnt easy, especially with the parents.
Bummer about the board position and the promotion. Things happen for a reason and it must mean something better will drop in your lap. Just remember that good things happen to good people. Keep up the good work my friend.
Take my crown? Not a chance (evil lol). I've been watching diets, marriages, divorces and know whos going down and up. Looks like OchoCinco is going to have a comeback year. 3rd round choice maybe? A lot of it's luck for sure. I got lucky in taking Rame for White and Johnson last year for Braylon Edwards. I just had a feeling. The guys that play with us know what they're doing so the draft is tough because you can't make a mistake. It'll be fun as always and hopefully we get that wager we were all talking about. Let us know where to mail the cash.
