Tried the new restaurant, it was good food. I talked to the owner after I got my takeout and told him I would be posting a review. He was very appreciative of the free word of mouth advertisement. Mom always says you can tell a good mexican restaurant by the salsa, so we got the salsa. On a scale of 1-10 mom said it was a 9. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I've pass by this restaurant all the time, but have not had the chance to try it.  Maybe I will this weekend.

What items on the menu have you and your companion(s) tried that impressed you or failed to impress you?

If the salsa was that good, why throw it out?

Another good  way to check out a mexican restaurant is to try their chiles rellenos to see if they make them fresh, not just reheated. I really like them with a good sauce over them. Not just cold salsa.

The asada tacos were pretty good.  Will come back for the chilaquiles.

I haven't tried it yet, but have heard the owners are part of the family that owns Los Panchos in Pacheco. Have enjoyed their food a few times, so will be trying Las Panchitas soon.

The place in Pacheco is good.  I'll have to try Las Panchitas sometime.
